  • @2003SCT "I have the power!!!" He-man.

  • Nope! It's Chuck Testa.

  • @Poodleinacan Chuck Testa is Lord!

  • do you really need a long programme to work out that the bible was wrtitten by God dummies

  • @mahmoudyzadeh there is NO god or gods you primative moron !!!!

  • They were known as the Hyksos and were thrown out of Egypt for their evilness and child sacrifice. You will know them by their fruits.

  • Believe in yourself, everything else is fake until proven real..

  • Oh dear, 2,000 years is seen as an 'immeasurable period of time'. No, it's really not very long at all. But long enough for us to wean ourselves off fairy tales, threats and promises made up by ignorant, superstitious spiteful control freaks.

  • @ukzane1986 im not a christian you dimwit and yeah its precisely because you will die for your religion without truly questioning it makes it so vile, a cancer on the mind of humanity. The Koran contradicts itself all over the place - like how long it supposedly took to create the earth, or scientific errors (the sun does not set in a muddy puddle to the west, nor does a mans seed lie in the base of his spine) - and a reminder, you are worshipping a jewish god.

  • @Jayar74 youll die for your constitution or whatever and some people die for their religion whats the difference.

there is not one contradiction in the quran your mind is just full of hate. it says the earth was created in 7 "yawms" which literally traslates out as 7 periods not 7 days unlike the bible there is not a scientist in the world who has a problem with that. about the muddy spring it says dhul qarnain saw the sun setting in a muddy puddle it dosent say the sun sets in a muddy puddle.

  • @generalzeedot No, i wont die for my constitution, and the hideous promise of 72 virgins is what drives muslims to blow themselves up (killing other muslims). The Koran IS filled with contradictions - the earlier passages of 'respecting the people of the book' is abrogated by the later 'jews are pigs and apes' racist crap, and I think you'll find most scientists are happy to point out all the innacuracies... Just becaused you are brainwashed by your religion doesnt mean anyone else buys into it.

  • @Jayar74 and about the jewish God god created all races there is only one God.hes a jewish/christian/muslim/God of all races and creeds some choose to worship him the way he wished to be worshipped some dont. there is no such thing as a jewish God. the jewish people were a beloved race to God he sent them many messengers yet they continually transgressed and made their religion in to a racial religion. and yes eloheim translated in to arabic is Allah so we all do worship the one true God .

  • Respond to this video... the bit about the sperm is just stupid as it says in surah 86 v 6 and 7 man is created from a fluid gushing forth which springs from between the spine and the ribs when you ejaculate only 2% of that fluid is sperm the rest is the liquid the quran is reffering to is what helps carry the spem along to its destination thats the reason when why when u have vasectonomy u still ejaculate but it dosent cntain any sperm that fluid thas gushed forth dsnt cme 4rm tstcles

  • @ukzane1986 Again- respect is earned, not obligatory. And yes, muslims are forcing shit down people's throats with the constant demands to respect islamic culture. And if you say the Koran is not contradictory, you havent really read it. Nazis held their beliefs dear and I would respect those beliefs any more than I would your racist, sexist beliefs. Harden up and stop crying, if your religion is so perfect, why the need to defend it all the time?

  • @ukzane1986 I know how its spelled, but its funny to watch muslims get so upset and offended by everything (you do realise you are worshipping a Jewish god, right?). I dont hate, I just dont care for your stupid set of stone age, racist, sexist, fascist beliefs being forced down our throats every time muslims complain about not being respected. The Koran is still another crap book of contradictions and falsehoods, just like the bible.

  • @ukzane1986 Typing in CAPS means it must be true. Especially if alluh says so. LOL!

  • Bible is for retards

  • Oh please ... Jerry Falwell.... ?

  • The BUY BULL was written by some people (control freaks) & used to control many indoctrinated willfully ignorant people.

  • Beyond the ages countless books have been forbidden or burned.....

The three truly evil ones seemed to have been forgotten!

If we would have had to good sense to have burned the bible, the talmud/tora and the quaran(and we could have easily left all the others) we would have gained a millennium of scientific progress.

Now most of the world is stuck in some dark stupid and very sick pattern originating from these incoherent and deluded scribblings...

For the sake of sanity : grow up!!!

  • @gh778jk if only! We live in hope that one day people will wake up to the bollocks in these religions and their texts.

  • The people that actually believe what these people say are true idiots and slaves of ignorant scholars. These are just foolish assertions by scholars who have some truth mixed up with many lies. Anybody with a brain wouldn't believe half of what these people are saying. Basically, the only people who would believe this are people who are against the belief that the bible is God's inerrant word............No wonder. This once again confirms that God has made the wisdom of this world foolishness.

  • @SlaveOfCrist So you say, that the one God you insist is an idiot right? If there is one and only god, why are there so many religions, couln't he have wrote one book for everyone? And judging by the 10 commandments he's pretty insecure. First four are basically, you must worship only me. One of the others, you shall not kill. He breaks this one himself when he kills so many standing in Israelite's way. No way this "book" could have been writen by any God. If you don't insist people are gods.

  • @Bishop38f8 There is only one God. He never made many religions or many books. Deceived pagan men made other religions and wrote other books. Since the beginning of the world God has always wiped out nations because of their false religions and idol worship. The only inspired word of God is the bible. So many prophecies in it have been fulfilled to the letter. There are so many spiritual promises that believers also enjoy, like for ex., Being sealed with the Holy Spirit when they believe the Gospel

  • @Bishop38f8 PART 2 - I always ask people from other religions; "What promises in your book have been fulfilled throughout the nations?" or "What promises in your book have been fulfilled to you personally?"The bible has done both of these things for me.Promises for nations have been fulfilled and also I have received personal promises promised by Jesus. He promised that all those who believe in him will be sealed and filled with the Holy Spirit, and by this we will know that our sins are forgiven.

  • @SlaveOfCrist -- OH YOU ARE THAT BRAINWASHED ASSHOLE. WAKE UP FOOL

  • @TheTruthisBackNow I could say the same thing to you, but the sad part is that you're so brainwashed that it would be like talking to a deaf person. May God Almighty have mercy on your soul. Believe me,I used to be brainwashed when i was tricked by society, but God manifested himself to me through Jesus Christ. This isn't about religion, it's about a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Many religious people will go to hell because they never knew God. May the veil be removed from your eyes

  • @SlaveOfCrist You are only a little boy. You have been brainwashed from birth. You know very little. Come back to reality fool.

  • @TheTruthisBackNow Wow, your mind is so brainwashed that when you get smacked with truth you think you know it all.

PS: You call me a little boy but you're the one acting like a little kid.........

  • Who need the truth when we can have Jesus!

  • A book written by Bronze age men, for Bronze age men....who apparently preferred to stone anyone who didn't obey their made-up rules.

  • The biggest religion in the world is not muslim or christianity. It is fiat money. Hardworking people who put their faith in a worthless peace of paper. And keep on believing that paper money has some kinda value, now that is a real miracle. Thats why the ceo of Goldman Sachs keeps thinking he is doing "God's work", and people keep on worshipping the Bernanke like he is the reincarnated prophet.

  • "One fish Two fish, Red fish Blue fish" was a waaaay better book than the bible

  • Mullet sighting at 0:54

  • wy is the bible the book of god if a bunch of guys did write it,might aswel pick a good book somewhere els and go with that same thing almost just a bunch of story's to,even if most of it is real u dont wear the same cothes jezus did so wy go by the same book?

  • If “the word of our God stands forever,” and the “word” of Ahaziah’s age doesn’t stand the test of time, whose word is it? God’s or Satan’s?

Even the OT seems uncertain on this point.

2 Sam 24:1 reads, “Again the anger of the LORD was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, ‘Go, number Israel and Judah.’”

However, 1 Chr 21:1 states, “Now Satan stood up against Israel, and moved David to number Israel.”

Uhhh, which was it? The Lord, or Satan?

  • But what about 2 Chronicles 22:2, which states that Ahaziah was forty-two when he assumed the throne? A copying error, no doubt.

    But that’s not the point.

Isaiah 40:8 claims that “the word of our God stands forever.” This assertion doesn’t excuse copying errors, or any other error, regardless how slight. In fact, according to Isaiah 40:8, any “word” which has not “stood forever” is disqualified as having been from God. Which should make us question the authorship.

  • So King Jehoram died at forty (2 Chronicles 21:20) and was succeeded by Ahaziah, who was twenty-two (2 Kings 8:26). Which means King Jehoram was eighteen when Ahaziah was born, and roughly seventeen when he was conceived.

Not only that, but Jehoram had older sons (2 Chronicles 22:1), so he must have started his family at the age of fifteen or less. So much for Ishmael having been a helpless lad at the age of sixteen. It was a time when teenagers were men.

  • And while the logical conclusion approaches ramming speed, 2 Chronicles 22:1 points out that Ahaziah was King Jehoram’s youngest son, for raiders had killed all Jehoram’s older sons.

So if Ahaziah was two years older than dear departed Dad, how many years did his older brothers have on their father?

Obviously, 2 Chronicles 22:2 can’t be trusted and 2 Kings 8:26, which teaches that Ahaziah was twenty-two when he became king, must be the correct version.

  • King Jehoram died at the age of 40 and was succeeded by his son, who was 42? In other words, King Jehoram fathered a child two years older than himself?

Arithmetic, according to Mickey Mouse, is “Being able to count up to twenty without taking off your shoes.”

But between the reader’s toes and all appendages of the family cat, there’s no way to make sense of these figures.

  • 2 Chronicles 22:2 teaches that “Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king….” Hunh. Forty-two years old. Hardly seems worthy of mention. Unless, that is, we note that 2 Kings 8:26 records, “Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king …” So which was it? Forty-two or twenty-two?

Let’s take a hint from the Bible. 2 Chronicles 21:20 teaches that Ahaziah’s father, King Jehoram, died at the age of forty.

    Ahem.

  • Let’s look at Old Testament dates from a different angle. Here’s Genesis 16:16: “Abraham was eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abraham.” Genesis 21:5 tells us, “Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.” So let’s see, one hundred minus eighty-six, subtract the six from the first ten, nine minus eight … I get fourteen. So Ishmael was fourteen when Isaac was born.

  • Oookay, forget Shem. So, just like Noah … Double Oops. Genesis 9:29 teaches, “So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.” So let’s see, Genesis 6:3 promised a lifespan limited to a hundred and twenty years, but a few verses later both Shem and Noah broke the rule?

    Whoa, time out.

  • Let’s begin by putting “two of every sort (of animal) into the ark,” and then … Oh, wait. Was that “two of every sort,” as per Genesis 6:19, or seven of clean and two of unclean animals, as per Genesis 7:2-3?

Hmm. Well, we’ve got up to 120 years to think about it, because that’s the limit of the human lifespan, as per God’s promise in Genesis 6:3. So, just like Shem …

Oops. Bad example. Genesis 11:11 states, “Shem lived five hundred years…”

  • JERRY FALWELL? SHIT, THOSE FAT EVANGELICAL ZELOTS FUCKS NEVER LIE!

  • Since Discovery Institute first published its statement of dissent from Darwin in 2001, more than 300 scientists have courageously stepped forward and signed onto a growing list of scientists of all disciplines voicing their skepticism over the central tenets of Darwin’s theory of evolution and urging “careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.”

  • @assym2006 Well man, judging for your reply to "phil8888" maybe we have more cultural similarities between us than you think.

  • I am more of a follower of the holy Shoe realy...

  • Christians often talk about developing a relationship with Christ and accepting him into their lives. They assert that Jesus is much more than a man and died on the cross to free mankind from the original sin. Christians speak of Jesus with love and respect, and it is obvious he holds a special place in their lives and hearts. But what about Muslims; what do they think about Jesus and what place does Jesus Christ hold in Islam?

Log on to islamreligion(dot)com/articles/1412/ for details.

  • It's amazing to me how many atheists clicked on this video titled "Who Wrote the Bible". It seems to me atheists spend plenty of time researching what they call a "fairytale".

  • @phil8888 It's "amazing" that people would be interested in mythology that billions of people actually choose to interpret as factual information?

That's an inane choice of words.

  • @alfyakuza Yes, it is.

  • @phil8888 To say that an atheist being interested in ancient scripture is somehow surprising, when the majority of people on Earth put faith in one or another, is just plain stupid.

  • @alfyakuza well, if you think God and Jesus are just fictional, why the obsession? I don't spend any time researching Santa Claus, even though millions of children believe in him.

  • @phil8888 That's not even close to a valid comparison. Please stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @alfyakuza Why not?

  • @phil8888 If you need to ask that question, it's obviously a waste of time to respond.

I've never heard of anyone believing in Santa Claus well into adulthood. You give the impression that you've met quite a few people who have.

  • @alfyakuza do you think it's more rational to believe in God than it is to believe in Santa Claus?

  • @phil8888 One offers the promise of toys and the other offers the promise of eternal "paradise". The only difference is that the latter isn't as interesting to children as the former.

  • @alfyakuza Exactly. So if they are essentially the same thing, then why don't atheists spend tons of time trying to refute Santa Claus, like they do God? If an adult, or group of adults said they believed in Santa Claus, I would probably just leave them alone. I certainly wouldn't dedicate my life to convincing them that Santa Claus is not real, which is what MANY atheists do with God.

  • @phil8888 You obviously enjoy making me repeat myself. HOW MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUS WELL INTO ADULTHOOD?!?!?!? Virtually no one.

If you believe that something used magic to just will the entire universe into existence, that is your right and that would bother far fewer people if you didn't choose to believe in a god as flawed as the genocidal Yahweh of the Hebrews. Santa Claus never advocated genocide, so yes, you would be right to leave those mentally ill people alone.

  • @phil8888 "...which is what MANY atheists do with God."

But of course its okay for Christians to devote their lives trying to convince people that Yahweh and Yeshua/Yahoshua were real and if you don't believe in them, you are going to burn in hell for an eternity.

  • God didn't created human, but human has created God!

  • There are two systems of creation on this planet. One doesn't know about the other. The one that is hidden, refers to itself as 'the illuminated.' They are the real rulers of this world. They believe they can become 'god' through the enslavement of man. They can only exist if they stay hidden, if we (the masses) wake up and realize whats being done to us, we can stop them but we're running out of time. They are trying to create a one world government. They call it the New World Order.

  • I have just listened to the completely contradictory words of Jerry Falwell at position 5:20 Have a listen to it. He tries to suggest that the bible was "written verbatim, just as god dictated and instructed", but that each author "used their own personality". This is just contradictory nonsense, which allowa the author personality bit to be used as an excuse for the glaring contradictions and the downright wholesale slaughter and killing of men women and children containe in this awful book.

  • @Irishfreethinker

it means they wrote whatever they wanted and didnt give a shit about what god said.

and he gave up said well dont listen then and left.

  • Typical History Channel junk history. Factual error in the 3rd sentence. The Eqyptian exodus is mythical, unsupported by history or archealogy.

  • God wrote the bible through the prophets and the apostles

  • You must read Ezekiel 23:20. Enjoy.

  • spoiler alert! It's all BS.

  • Comment removed

  • i wonder if jesus and mohamad hang out..lol..

  • well we learn from archeological evidence that jesus not only has the super-power of healing but also of invisibility, excellent cross-bow skills and control over animals

  • Oh god, not Jerry Falwell! (I should have known though. This program is quite old, and I've seen it at least once or twice before).

  • ahahahahaha the bible...toilet paper with a binding. there are humans and then there is a subspecies called..the faithful

  • Wow, maybe some of you should actually read the "whole" Bible.... it is quite fascinating.

(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT) If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

Mmmm.... Rape... save up some silver...

  • Comment removed

  • @rajeer Hahahahha! wow if that is all it takes that would save me a lot of time and money.

  • .youtube.com/watch?v=yH2kW_Z9BcQ&feature=related

the bible is flawed and was subjectively put together. its not the 'word of god'

  • The dead sea scrolls are consistent with the Torah and Bible. They were recently discovered. How did someone falsify all of that and make it match? I didn't just do a quick browse for support of my statement, I actually made a (highly comprehensive) website, to show you over 50 Torah (old testament) messianic prophesies, that authenticate the deity of Jesus. (webdb. co. cc.) Remove the spaces. It is impossible, for one man to fulfill these messianic prophecies, by chance. Tell me your thoughts.

  • @litefogg

The Dead Sea Scrolls are forgeries found in the Dead Sea a very shallow Sea. If you had any semblance of knowledge in Science you would know that. That Dead Sea has the highest amount of salt in any body of water in the world. You are so brainwashed that you believe a scraps of parchment are Words from a celestial God. OF all places why would god put the most important document inside a barren sea bereft of civilization?

  • @Romansteel13 You are so quick to judge and slander but Sir...They weren't found "in the Dead Sea". The were found, in a cave, near the dead sea. No salt water touched them. I could slander you, now. In fact, I could eat you; alive but I'm more civilized, than that. You really should at least know a little about something, before trying to give a meaningful rebuttal. You just made yourself look very ignorant. I don't consider that to be slander but only a hint of advice.

  • @litefogg How the hell could you accuse him of "slander? " Whose reputation has he attempted to maliciously attack by misinformation?

Methinks you are not as clever as you would like to make out.

  • @litefogg my dear bro not to argue but no place in the bible does jesus say he is God worship him and he didnt fulfill alot of phrophesies hence the jews did not beleive him to be messiah i dont have room for all heres a few jesus said he would be like jonah who was in the belly of the whale so shall i be in the belly of the earth for three days and nights he was put in fri evening and was gone sun morning whjen mary went to the tomb how is that 3 days and nights?

  • @zulfiqar501 When the Nicene Creed was adopted, the ecumenical council essentially voted as to whether Jesus was divine or just a prophet of God. The words of the Bible are not unambiguous on this point, and can be interpreted either way.

  • @litefogg The Bible don't say anywhere, Jesus is God. We are all sons and daughters, who do God's will. Jesus was indeed a prophet but with a few distinguished differences. Emasculate birth, a sinless life, many miracles and loads of prophesy, foretold his arrival ect. He was sacrificed to atone for our sin. Heb 9:12, 1Jhn 4:10

Here are the prophecies (webdb . co. cc). It's in the Torah and The Dead Sea scrolls are consistent with the Torah. How could it be false?

  • The bible is mostly used to keep people in fear. Be afraid or God will punish you..

  • @chikdada I think you are right that the Bible is very often used to keep people in fear, but that may not be what it was intended for. There are Christian Universalists who claim that the early Christian Church did not focus on escaping an eternal hell, but rather emphasized love and compassion. I don't know how historically accurate this is, but it's a hopeful possibility.

  • wildnine, thanks for keepin' all the thumpers grounded and giving me a good chuckle!!

  • we are not but stardust and these stars died so we could be here.

  • Death to religion of any kind, take them dam books put them in a rocketship and set it's destination towards the SUN and let it vaporise

  • Wake up people THERE IS NO GOD. we live in such a godless world. How can anyone still belive in a god? If someone has a brain and uses it, it is NOT possible to believe in god.

  • The Bible says that humans are made of dirt.

And that snakes and donkeys talk.

And that insects have 4 legs.

    And that bats are birds.

And that the earth is flat.

And that the sun revolves around the earth.

And that animals appeared AFTER man but BEFORE woman.

If the the parts we can verify are false,

how can we rationally rely upon the parts that are not verifiable?

Whoever wrote it koew nothing about science.

  • @Imaginefree69 An evolutionist said that "we are nothing but a grain of sand" - I am confused. Not sayin you gotta believe in the bible, but just sayin. lol.

  • @nickr3141 "An evolutionist said that "we are nothing but a grain of sand" - I am confused. "

This is in response to what the Bible says?

    Okay....

was the atheist claiming that his words were the Inspired,

Infallible, Perfect, Complete, Authoritative, Inerrant Word of God?

  • Who wrote the bible? A bunch of barley literate jews and arabs, and then the stories were compiled by a tyrannical Roman and a bunch of Italians for the sole purpose of intellectual and societal manipulation

  • Who wrote the bible? We(meaning Man) did. Writing is an invention of man. To deny that is an insult to mankind.

  • Wrong! The Happy God flew down to Earth on a Cloud...wrote they Bible and flew back to Frau Holle.

  • @EnergyOM ... The reason the Happy God flew back to Frau Holle was because it didn't want to stick around for the bad critical reviews. ^_^

  • @yeshuahfullofit I heard from my wife, that she knows a girl who knows a girl who knows a guy who knows a girl who knows Frau Holle.....'s Therapist, and he said to that girl, that the Happy God is quite amused about the confusing about that book he wrote, so he will wrote a lot of new books and will send them to earth. Have you heard...plus...their will be a comeback tour for his Son and he will have lots of free gadgets for those who.... i forgot the rest, my bad^^ :)

  • @EnergyOM .....mein gott in himmel! LOL!

  • @yeshuahfullofit ....mein "glücklicher" Gott im Himmel, would be right ;)

  • The 4 Gospels were not written by the people who they are named after.

Falwell, like many others was wrong.

  • Then by that logic Hax2tehMax=FAIL

  • so obviously not written by a god!

  • @just4you2see2009 poor delusional bastard.

  • Poor psychotic fools.

  • Why don't we start a religion around the Harry Potter books? This makes just as much sense.

  • haha good point

  • harry potter already might as well be a religion really

  • Someone will, one day. I'm sure.

We certainly could... though it wouldn't be very moral, especially if people started believing. But then again, religion isn't supposed to be moral anyway lol

  • @lasive I'd laugh, but then I reflect on the frightening likelihood of this eventuality.

  • @lasive

    it makes more sense

  • @lasive Because Harry Potter is clearly nonsensical. Didn't anyone tell you that The Bible is the most historically, scientifically, and completely factually true? Even the bits that contradict each other? You just have to channel God or something in order to do it. Is your soul THAT unclean that you can't radio connect with God anytime you like? I mean, come on.

    ~ You're a wizard, Harry. Well, you're a hairy wizard! ~

  • Jerry Falwell!!?? I hope this documentary doesn't rely on him to gain credibility

  • Dollar130Shine, Ironic? i dont know where your stance is on religon, but yes it was supposed to be on the sabbath, Why? because Jesus came to show that he had obeyed and therefore released us from the 10 commandments. And to show the jewish people around him that they did not need to obey those old rules and religous beliefs.

Sorry if my grammar is messed up but im really tired. hah...

  • Then why did he specifically say that nothing in the law would change?

  • bible=bulsh!t

  • I strongly agree with you.

  • Praise Zeus! I'm telling you guys, I was talking to Zeus the other day. He's pretty pissed about how many people have forgotten how he is the highest god that rules all the other ones. At first he thought this Jesus guy was pretty funny, but after all these years the joke is old. If I were you, I'd get right with Zeus before you die. He's not very forgiving. Helluva god to have a beer with though.

  • Infidel! Behemecoatyl will strike you down!

  • rofl

  • I'm having a beer with Zeus and the 100 handed monster right now. Thetis set us up. Hera, Athena, and Poseidon were not invited. Who gets this reference?

  • Damn I wish I knew mythology better. Are you Dione? I know Hera is Zeus's wife, so maybe you're one of his mistresses, like Dione?? Zeus released the 100 handed monster from Tartarus, along with Cronus's other brothers, Gigantes and the Cyclopses. Are you one of those?

  • It's not about who I am. It's just the reference. Hera is Zeus's wife and sister. Poseidon is his brother and Athena popped out of Zeus's forehead. Thetis, Achilles' Nereid mother, brought in the hundred handed monster when several gods tried to overthrow Zeus.

  • bible is man made, just a bunch of stories, nothing what Jesus taught in terms of killing others. Jesuss teachings are in the bible, but not everything in the bible refers 2 Jesus. Bible & Religion were infiltrated by the roman empire, which is trying to regain their thrown via the new world order. The elite r following the bible 2 a T &using religion, 2 which Jesus hated, as a tool 2 create wars! so we should b aware of it! Just dont rule by it. Go here for more knowledge:

    Truthknowledge. Com

  • So how do you personally rationalize away all the awful, terrible things in the bible? The bigotry, the slavery, the ownership of women?

I ask this question legitimately. How can a person like you, who seems so rational, accept parts of a book, and dismiss other parts?

How can a person gain their moral fortitude from a book that tells you how to buy, and treat salves?

    Honest question.

    Please answer.

  • @hossrex

Blind faith with a large portion of ignorance and a closed mind work wonderfully.

Hope that helps answer your question.

  • Well certainly that's the real reason, but I'm always curious to hear actual Christians explain it.

In the end they always hem and haw around the question, and then pretend there wasn't an actual question directed to them.

    I find it fascinating.

  • oh my goodness praise our holy lord Jesus i couldn't agree with you more!! i especially love Numbers 31:17 Hosea 13:16 and Isahia 13:15

  • I also loved how Jesus arose Lazarus, the day of the Sabbath. Ironic?

  • Hmmm... the KJV of the Bible is written in Elizabethan English, which is very beautiful, to be sure. But most of the Old Testament is boooooriiiiing....

  • I would rather listen to only neutral, informed academics than superstitious douchebags like Jerry Falwell.

  • The narration and "mysterious" music are so clichéd in this program as to render it unlistenable. It's straight out of 70's Sunn Classic Pictures. Absolutely excruciating.

  • the bible wrote a realy stupid man for stupid people :D ;)

  • for a so called freethinker you are incredibly delusional. Please kill yourself.

  • And for a hater like you who wishes other people to "kill" themselves, you're certainly criminal. Please isolate yourself from the rest of mankind and live on an island alone.

  • I pray to your magic sky wizard that you die sometime really soon. Enjoy your cancer :)

  • You don't believe in God and yet you would "pray" to MY GOD? LOL So what are you really--an atheist or theist? Make up your mind, oxymoron. :))

  • It's so obvious who wrote the bible, even a three year old child can give you the answer ie before being indoctrinated.

  • I'm an atheist and I actually like the Bible, because I know that its myth. I hate that atrocities were commited in it's named, but I like alot of the stories, in the same way I like Greek, Egyptian myths etc.

I don't brush it off like alot of other atheists do.

  • You ever look into nordic myths, sagas eddas?

  • Not really. To be honest I've read some Thor (comics) haha. I always thought he was cool, so I suppose the actual myths are cool.

  • "I don't brush it off like alot of other atheists do" I appriciate that, when I started looking into heathenry I was for all practical purposes an atheist, and a student of eastern thought. But the images are so powerful I got swept up in it. That said I think I have a practical approach to Heathenry. I don't believe there is actually a tree holding up the cosmos, or the creation myth is how it actually happened. Just our ancestors perception. You can learn a lot by studying your ancestors.

  • Thats like Satanism. Lots of them do rituals. You just make up your own shit because there is no God to answer to.

    I just live personally.

  • They normally refer to it as theatrics, satanism has a lot to offer a certain group, but I've met few satanist I'd like to spend time with. Heathenism is much more earthy, and we have historical referances to tell us how they did rituals. It's more like historical reinactment than than what satanist do.

    To each his own.

  • I mean you can learn a lot about yourself. Plus I need ritual, I freaking love ritual. Heathenry provides that in a special way.

  • This book also makes for excellent bathroom reading and when you're done, serves equally well as toilet paper

  • hahahaha!! Classic!
