I am not a practicing christian, but I must admit, I have rediscovered Jesus's words. They inspire me to become a greater human being. In the bible it states that it's for a reason, to draw you to God and say Why? To want to know "who created all this?" It was created to draw you to God. I am not a practicing christian, but I must admit, I have rediscovered Jesus's words. They inspire me to become a greater human being. I wish I was as great as he is; of course I will never be, and none will ever. But ever trying to resemble him in his greatness and capacity for love and forgiveness... I find this to be the most noble way to live.

@Mr2010weg Speaking of the Gospel of Thomas, it was the MacGuffin in one of the worst exorcism/religion films I've seen, "Stigmata".The producers "Did Not Do The Research" in that they pretended the GoT was a suppressed secret that would blow the lid off Christianity. It was funny, as you could pick up GoT at your local B&N after the film if you wanted. I don't get offended by that stuff as I'm secure in my ideals, but LOL. Thomas btw has been discounted for a lot of reasons beyond its views.

The most common mistranslation here is "lead us not into temptation". This should be "let us not enter into temptation".

Just check his face in this video, no matter what type of make up and all that stuff, that goes in making a movie, Robert Powell was so unique it's written all over his face.
