If you want to give real critique, then I'd suggest you read up on some stuff: Scratching = the most advanced way of spriting.

Making sprites from scratch is way more impressive than pasting a bunch of stuff on a body and recoloring it with wrong shading (light coming from all directions).

Let me make something clear: A SCRATCH IS A SPRITE. On Spriting communities where the best pokémon spriters are like CS, they consider scratching as the most advanced and hardest way of spriting.

If you look at splicing, it is just pasting a fucking head on a fucking body and swap some arms, then all of you fail spriters don't even bother correcting the shading. In a scratch you make the outlining, shading, colors all by yourself!

And as far as i know, most of youtube are a bunch of scrubs.

If i must be honest, i don't really like your scratch made sprites, usually the legs or arms are quite weird. Your shading method isn't really that good either. You put the highlights where they shouldn't be.

But that is my opinion. :)

You realize that you're talking about 205? 205 is twice the spriter you'll ever be, I understand you're a VERY good spriter, but 205's sprites aren't the normal old ones that everybody else makes. His shading is perfect, the only place I do not see highlights in the right area, is on the bottom spot. Why don't you and 205 duel? He'd win hands down. Not critiquing, I will tell you I am a terrible spriter, but I know a thing or two about art.
