@maxishere4 Yes, I suppose so. I wish it had bass and treble controls instead of just a tone pot. My grandma's big 1963 Magnavox console unit has bass and treble, and this is probably from '63 as well. Sometimes the bass causes these speakers to distort and pop a little. This record player still sounds good, but I might have to spray the pots again since they're still scratchy.

This should go into the Library of Congress. How will people in the future know how to operate automatic phonographs players. This video will show them. I forgot how the 'arm' went to the inside to reset before going to 'rest.'

I really enjoyed it. Its a great song sung by a classic artist.

@marksmail2 This is a portable Magnavox Micromatic. Your stereo could be a Magnavox Micromatic console. If everything looks the same as mine, your console could be a '63, like my grandmother's.
