  • I've listened to the live version with Pat & Jaco several dozen times now. I'm not sure which i prefer - both are exquisite.

  • Thanks for uploading this. Haven't heard it in years! Sounds great

  • Appropriately on licorice

  • Love the song. Love your accent.

  • @EmpressOfWyoming58 Haha, thank you (:;

  • press 00.31 to play the record

  • @klinscq This isn't that far into the video.

  • Shut up man!

  • Shut up and play the record

  • @leftfootlouie 31 seconds into the video isn't that long at all.

  • Cool! Those of us who grew up with analog and record players appreciate the genuine warmth of the sound.

  • @berky1 Yes, as do I...even though I'm only 21.

  • @berky1 true! and after it has been recorded with an digital camcorder and streamed over the net it sounds even more analoge...

  • Joni hit #22 in Billboard, 9-28-74. I just pray that Joni would quit smokin', before it gets too late for her to do so. Anybody can quit. It just takes will power. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx!

  • @DaveWollenberg Joni wrote some o.k. songs but her instrumental parts were kind of lacking. Check out my band's new featured video if you want to hear a better interpretation.

  • followed by "People's Parties" ...another favorite of mine from C&S

  • Needs better sound quality....Like my super Yamaha receiver and Kenwood turntable...Better speakers would help as well...Dah.

  • nice record player, looks like the one i used to own when i was like 8 lol..cool post man!

  • Sounds terrible

  • @The1970sInfatuate Nice for a retro buzz though ;)

  • Magic pass the refer an feel this

  • Remember the red and different colored 33lp vinyls? I still have a few of them.

  • @34153353 The only colored vinyl I own is a Rolling Stones album. I showed it in my vinyl collection video, if you want to check it out that'd be cool.

  • Dialect, maybe? and not "Accent".

  • Very cool, up late when i should be sleeping, and found this. Thanks.

  • That's a super great Album!!!

  • the knob says loudness. thats much cooler than volume.

  • @maxishere4 Yes, I suppose so. I wish it had bass and treble controls instead of just a tone pot. My grandma's big 1963 Magnavox console unit has bass and treble, and this is probably from '63 as well. Sometimes the bass causes these speakers to distort and pop a little. This record player still sounds good, but I might have to spray the pots again since they're still scratchy.

  • man...that's some dope shit....a 70's Ipod lol...i can literally picture 15 year olds stumbling across this video..( by mistake clearly ) ...and wondering what ancient relic their watching...horrified...they put it on pause and go check with they're parents...who explain it...then go back to the couch and curse the day they ever had children....

  • Sounds good. Thank you. I miss vinyl.

  • Respond to this video... Vinyl is still making a comeback.

  • @The1970sInfatuate YES!! IT!! IS!!! even the younger generation is getting back into Vinyl....

CDs are going the way of the Caveman...

  • nice!

  • This should go into the Library of Congress. How will people in the future know how to operate automatic phonographs players. This video will show them. I forgot how the 'arm' went to the inside to reset before going to 'rest.'

I really enjoyed it. Its a great song sung by a classic artist.

  • Thanks so much for the memory.... :) I think it sounds awesome and actually 3/4's better than most of the stuff on youtube!! Thanks again!!

  • @SoftSoxx Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I enjoy the warm analog sound of music.

  • Yaaaay! Let's hear it for vinyl! Love it.

I grew up listening to this album, and Cat Steven's "Tea for the Tillerman".

    Classic :)

  • Is that a magnovox record player? It looks just like the inside of our "stereo" from the sixties.

  • @marksmail2 This is a portable Magnavox Micromatic. Your stereo could be a Magnavox Micromatic console. If everything looks the same as mine, your console could be a '63, like my grandmother's.

  • firrrst things firrrst....forget where's the crapper..what's up with your bloody sound system?

  • @Thopter what?

  • @Thopter, He's not playing shitty euro dance, he's playing real music, and on a damn fine system actually.

  • @carbonatedturd Thank you!!!

  • I loved the song way back when and still do! ty for sharing!

  • @MsIndianajane No trouble at all. I'm glad you liked it.

  • "Thanks mate!"

  • Thanks, this is an awesome song. Nice accent!

  • @niagrawater As Wilmer Valderrama would say, "Accent, what the hell is she talking about?"
