Very similar to how I make mine. Only difference, I add some ground beef and a couple of potatoes. Great soup. I will try it your way too. I like trying different things.

I made this soup just now nut instead of putting everything in the boiling water i sauteed everything with cooking spray and then put in water and chicken bullion for more added flavour :)

A splash of vinegar or lemon juice and one cup of any kind of cooked bean makes it good too.

can you use just lettuce/iceberg lettuce and not use cabbage? i know that would mean it's not cabbage soup anymore but i really dont like cabbage :(

i had something like this before but it was just water potatoes and alot of cabbage and a little butter but it was really good but some guy from yugoslavia made it for us

I made this soup today and WOW it was reaaallly tasteie!!!! my parents came over for dinner and i made it as a side and they didnt even finish the other food they had seconds on the soup lol
