"Because of his avarice and betrayal of the emperor's trust, Pier De La Vigna was disgraced, blinded and inprisoned. Dante's pilgrim finds Pier De La Vigna on the 7th level of the inferno, like Judas Iscariot, he died by hanging. Judas and Pier De La Vigna are linked in Dante by the avarice he saw in them. In fact avarice and hanging are linked in the medieval mind...
@DictatorRoB whats really intriguing about that is in Red Dragon we think Dolarhyde is the red dragon because of the painting and his inner voice which he believes is the red dragon. but when i did some digging on the actual painting i found that in no way does it fit his psychological profile. the painting refers to Revelation "And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast-
- them to the earth." This same dragon is referred to as the beast that tries to devour the Woman "clothed in the Sun"'s child. and thats what drew me in. so i read more about the novels and took note to the red pin points of light in his eyes. and then it hit me. the dragon is revelation is commonly known or referred to as Satan. Pure Evil. The Tempter that stands to the side and manipulates situations. and thats when it hit me. Hannibal Lecter-
- Manipulated Dollarhyde into feeding his dark obsession rather than coaxing it to a halt. he was the voice in Dollarhyde's head. We all know he is capable of such psychological feats. just look at what he did to the man next to his cell in "Silence of the lambs" that ejaculated on jody foster. he convinced him to kill himself. Hannibal Lecter represented Evil incarnate. He represented the Devil in Human Form. So in retrospect Hannibal was the Red Dragon Not Dollarhyde =). just food for thought
Well I don't think the fact that all the evnts and characters are fictional is quite THE POINT of the film. Did you think I thought it was a documentary? Besides, I never said anything about evil or goodness did I? Or did I? Apparently you're the fucking almighty judge all of a sudden. Anyway sorry about that I'm tired and annoyed at this film, mainly because it was nowhere near as good as 'The Silence of the Lambs'.
I love this music ^^ Hannibal is a great character, I just think the cannibalism is not very well explained or justified, personally, cannibalism is stupid if you're not starving and without alternative. You can contract nasty brain diseases from eating people.
@L0Z7AT ~ The books are much better than the movie anyways.
Especially if you like ClaricexHannibal. It goes more in depth into detail, and everything. Of course, that's usually the thing between books/movies... : )
I heard the first bit of this song in a documentary a few hours ago, and literally sat for over an hour picking my brain, desperately wondering where I originally heard it from....and then...an epiphany! And Here it Is!!!

Hannibal as he is in the books has eyes as on the picture-maroon which reflect the light in pinpoints of red.

Hannibal is THE villain. A cannibalistic genius, there is nothing better.

I don't see him as the villain, I see him as the hero. I mean, they say he's bad and stuff but you just can't help thinking how fucking cool he is :P

lets call him hannibal the perfect citizen then who does his bit for the fucking community! the whole point of the film , is that it is not REAL
infeted14 2 years ago
@L0Z7AT the cannibalism is explained a bit more in the book with flashbacks to his childhood. and anyway you can tell hes a misanthrope in the movie

Try Google-searching a Youtube Converter. That's how I get songs I want.
I suppose you could also try Limewire, but that gives you a crap-load of viruses. I wouldn't recommend using it.
