@Dangerplan77 i suggest you try to find a 2007 highway one sss strat.

they are very sought after and hard to find and if you do find one you

will pay $1,200 to $1,300 for it. this is the strat you want for gilmoure

and hendrix style playing. and yes theres a differnce between the 07's

08's/09's and 2010's. the 2007's are suprior there lighter in weight and

the all maple necks hard to find. most highway one strat are rosewood.

and there are other differnces.

i prefer rosewood, only because i find that maple feels too slippery, but that's just my opinion. but nice guitar anyways.:)

Man, I love the look of the maple fretboard...do you find it less smooth on your bending...than the rosewood? Just curious because I just purchased a new American Deluxe with rosewood and I want to take it back and get maple because of looks and tonal quality.
