  • I'm Amy,

After listening to this I really have to share with you my top ten!!! I believe life is to short to stick to one genre and I want to hear all the music world has to offer. Me and my mom sing. I live in constant movement I run, dirt bike, log roll, dance, etc! Music is a big part of my life and you would really like some of the stuff I enjoy. Where can I send or post my list? It's all neatly typed out with video links.

  • livewire try to losten Expression Crew - marionette show... the show is based on amelie soundtracks

  • really interesting vlog, different kinds of music i think everyone should find sth for him ;) btw bloc party stands out ;)

  • 6,066th view...

  • Got one of Ludovico Einaudi's albums... burial and rusko win though :)

  • 10. stone roses - stone roses

    9. oasis - morning glory

    8. the libertines - the libertines

    7. the strokes - is this it

6.arctic monkeys - whatever people say i am, thats what i'm not

    5. pink floyd - the wall

    4. the beatles - sgt peppers lonely hearts club

    3. sex pistols - never mind the bollocks

2.pink floyd-dark side of the moon

1the libertines - up the bracket

  • #1 Nirvana - Unplugged In New York

#2 Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers

    #3 Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited

    #4 Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin 4

#5 Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication

#6 Alice In Chains - Unplugged

    #7 Radiohead - Kid A

#8 Sonic Youth - Washing Machine

#9 Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon

#10 The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico

  • good list, apart from nirvana, most overrated band ever!

  • i'm guessing you've never been depressed before?

  • it doesn't matter, nirvana are hailed as one of the best band ever, when they had a couple good songs but that was it,

  • they have so many amazing songs

people just dont listen to them.

they just listen to the radio friendly songs over and over and over again because they are too fucking stupid to get bored of hearing the same songs over and over again.

some of my favorite nirvana songs are the one's that never even got put on albums.

  • nirvana are a good band, don't get me wrong. but i'd but sex pistols, queen, oasis, the libertines, stone roses ect.. ahead of them. but it is just my opinion.

  • wow

    oasis better than nirvana?

lol... you got a completley different taste in music than i do.

  • lol oasis are a lot better. write better lyrics, better guitar riff's also liam gallagher didn't have to kill himself to get people to take note of his music

  • Nirvana became famous in 91 when they released Nevermind

it sold more copies than all of Oasis's albums combined within the first week.

It was the fame and publicity that drove him to kill himself..

maybe you should get your facts straight before you start talking shit.

  • really!!! is that why oasis have 70million albums sold and nirvana 51million? whats the story (morning glory) is far better than any nirvaana album. and has sold more. do your research!

  • Nevermind sold 26 million copies

Morning Glory sold 22 million copies...

you don't even know what the fuck your talking about.

  • yeah but 10million where in the US, and if you knew anything you'd no its a lot eaiser to sell in your own country. if you compare who's sold more in countries, oasis win. but oasis debut album has sold more anyway so. and if he didn't kill himself he wouldn't have sold 26. it would have been alot, but not 26

  • Nice to see Silent Alarm getting No.1. One of my fave bands.

  • i love sniper:)

cheak out sinik and el marador they are good

  • Haha Tim, that made my day.

  • 93' til infinity is definitely a great song and yann teirsen is one of my all time favourite pianists.

good top 10 except for the linkin park but still cool

  • good choice on LP legends pure and simple they give me a highschool nostalgia feeling, worth mentioning reanimation aswell top album. An album i recently fell inlove with is Ready to Die by Notorius B.I.G not a fan of the music but his lyrics are impressive. SIlent Alarm is in my top 3 aswell nice surprise on Kings of Leon 'Because of the Times' is a good album. if you like euphoria the new ministry breakdown album had some nice remix's and collabs on. and the new LP album disappointed me =( x

  • A nice Vlog there dude! Looks to me like it was well worth the effort man. Some i definitely agree with there man, got the bloc party one in my car too man, sickkkk.

A crit for future vlogs; at times the background sounds [in this case the music] was a little too loud, so was hard to hear the voice as much. Obviously there might not be background sound next time but yer, was still good to watch/hear.

  • Nicee one dude!

    Peacee

    Morris x

  • :O:O:O:O

this is a bit of a surprising list from you man! i am a little disappointed man there is some good stuff missing!

    Pharcyde- labcabincalifornia?

    nas- illmatic?

i enjoyed it anyway bro :)

    peace!

  • Your turn Cord ;)

  • That was a very nice watch, and I'll definitely be checking out one or two of the mentioned bands/albums.

The length of the video was fine I thought, kept me interested. You seemed to get quieter as it went on though, and the tracks you played over were just a little too loud when clashing with your voice.

    Look forward tut' next.

  • Yo man, coool stuff i look forward to seeing more stuff you put together. Been sick if you could have made Sunday in London it was dopee x

  • sick man. i was wondering why my rob dougan album had vocals and in videos it never does. ill probz get the instrumental one soon :D

    peace dudde

  • nice one tim!

look forward to seeing you do more :)

i diddent know you was into that many different kinds of music anyway see you soon

    peacee,

    Adam Sturgess

  • Silly Adam didn't even realise that more than 4 genres of music existed! ^_^

  • hahaha lol :)

  • Loved the Honourable mentions, seemed good that you were giving other Albums the chance amongst your Top 10, makes the list a little less biased I guess.

As for people thinking that Linkin Park is a little cliched, screw them. Things become a "cliche" because they're popular, a lot of things are popular for the same reason, they're actually good.

I'll be checking out a few on there that you've listed for sure. Always nice to get listening to some new tunes now and then.

    Peace x - Shane Rounce

  • Thanks Shane, real nice comment from you there much appreciated!
