O.O wtf 1mil for a master all xD at the end of my first run when I was 8 I had like 20 all's mainly because I didn't know what I was doing so I kept mastering and at one point I remember getting pissed at all the Alls since I kept getting more for some reason. FF 7 fanboys have such a narrow prspective. the turn base fights are boring and heve no action in them. ff 7 looks like crap(even when it orginally realesed) cut scences are not the games graphics nor are the pre render background you cant even interact with that background cause its 2d. ff7s story and characters were compared to other games crap. so ff7 fanboys admit it, get, over it, that slap yourself 1 time for every ridiculous claim youve made about ff7 being 1 of the best games ever
I have all limits break with tifa and yuffi, but I can't teach final heaven to tifa or all creation fot yuffi, why ? is this a glich or I have to do something before I teach this limits to them ?
@Zentryx so you have both of their level 3 limits? um if so then yeah id say youre facing a glitch there because pretty much only requirement i remember is have all previous limit breaks before level 4s can be taught and of course have the item that teaches the level 4 :P
@DantesProphet I just noticed what happens, I have both of level 3 limit, but I didn't had the two level 2 limits, is possible learn a level 2 limit or 3 without the previous limit.
@Zentryx yeah i think your game glitched badly because you can only evolve to next level of limits by using the first in the set 7 times and then once youve gotten the second one in the set killing 80 or so enemies then rinse and repeat. hope you get that taken care of the game really is much more satisfying seeing your characters pull off these amazing attacks after all the grief you go through of not having em for most of the game :/
i have a complaint i like the vid but here are some things you could have done to help 1.Do Disks in order and events in order 2. list the places like where they are on the map which town they are in 3.list what to do to get things (for example i knew this already but to get Death Penelty you have to visit the cave in disk 2 then again in disk 3 some people might not have known that another example tell to get Final Heaven you have to play the piano right BOTH times and you should listed the -

@Ragnamune The W-item trick is a glitch, I think it only works on 1 pair of enemies down in the northrend caverns, don't remember specific though. Anyways, you have the W-item materia on and as you probably know you get to choose 2 items in a fight, But the glitch makes it so that everytime you chose the first (Or both dont remember) then press O (Back) you will gain 1 extra item. Hurray for 99 hero drinks.

@hama93 after a certain point, the room where everyone meets again, it is impossible to leave the north crater, anytime before that, you just go the way you came. somewhere on the left when you can see the ship there is a place you have to push o i think to climb up.
Its a data overflow. Vincents Death Penalty weapon does damage based on how many enemies vincent has killed. If vincent kills...65,255 enemies, you immediately deal overflow damage of excess of 1,000,000 damage. The number of enemies i just quoted could be wrong just as a heads up.

Just finishing off a run through, picked me up a Master Command after I dropped off the Master Materias but cba to level my Summons and missing Shield Materia to get Master Magic, tbh I'm too high level to enjoy the fighting any more. I have Barret or Vincent with Auto Barrier/MBarrier, Master Cover and like 5 Command materias so battles including boss battles are ending quick :( Anyone ever done a low level game? Are they fun? Might try a speed run but I just love the story :P

I got FF7 on the PSP so I have an actual reason to use it and I thought this time round like on my 30th playthrough I'll literally do the game 100% collect all weapons, all items, all limits just everything. I'm about to get the keystone and all my characters are around level 60 now and just trying to get Aerith to learn her last limit so I can see what Great Gospel is like, I never bothered going past Seal Evil with her before for obvious reasons.
Question: I leveled up Aeris to level 40 throughout the game until before the Temple of the Ancients quest but I never got past her limit breaks beyond level 1. Seal Evil is the highest I've managed to make her learn. I really wanted to experience Great Gospel for myself but I guess I never will be able to. Here's the question, any ideas why?
okay the limit breaks work as how many people you kill with THAT person, i think its every 60 kills for a new level of limit breaks and i dont know how you get the second one in the the level limit breaks, for example clouds level 1:braver, cross slash, level 2:blade beam, climhazard, it takes him 60 kills to get to blade beam, the person you want the limit breaks HAS to get the kill, not just be in the party. send me a message if you would like me to explain more detailed, im a master at ff7...
I personally am going through this game again and for Yuffie's father I used Bio3 on him and then casted demi repeatedly until he reached about 40% and then I just defended and stayed healed. If you attack when he reached 40% he counter's with cure2 but it doesn't counter the poison effect.

I remember this game as well. Amazing how many times I have beaten the game, but never owned it. I want a copy so bad, and online shopping is so expensive leading to it. Don't worry, I won't be feeling shame to use a gameshark for Aeris. She was one of my favorite characters. You were practically invincible as long as she was in your party.
after you go to wutai and get your materia back from yuffie, you can go to the tower of 5 pagodas or something. its the big tower thats on the leftside enterance of wutai. yuffie fights her father there. her, and her alone.
Yeah, he's right on that, but the thing that sucks is. Now I may not be 100% on this, but I'm almost positive you can' t fight Yuffies father on Disk 3. So if your on disk 3, you might be outta luck. Sorry D:

The best way for me was to capture 4 Great Chocobos and make sure I had two of the opposite sex. That way, when I go after a Good Chocobo, it would always be the opposite sex of one of my Greats. I repeat the same thing with the Wonderful Chocobo so that when I get a Black one, it'd always be the opposite sex of my wonderful. It would be difficult and unwise but you could actually do this with the River and Mountain Chocobos as well. I'd rather not.
LOL Resident Evil and DBZ chocobos. BTW you have taught me many things I did not know.....but how dose the death penalty thing work? I tried before and looked like a retard attacking with vincent alone..
I always make it a point to get to level 16 before meeting up with Barrett at the beginning of the game, then making sure Barrett gets up to level 16 also. Then I make sure I get up to level 20 before finishing the second reactor, where you fall. Once they first let me out of Midgar, I immediately (don't even go to the town) cross the sands (with luck to not fighting the snake) and level up in that cave until about 35-40. Then I can breeze through most of the game.
The snake is easy...I killed him at level 13 14 and 11 with initial equips...Limit break him with tifa + cloud into standing up and then just PSN him with bio, all in backrow. Hyper/tranq doesnt matter...Just Aeris for healing, potions/hipotions whichever necessary :P

on my first file, i had trouble getting past lost number due to his move "lost blow" which would k0 party members in one hit XD! but i recently restarted playing and he wasnt much of a trouble training up earlier
I hadn't played Final Fantasy VII in a long time, yesterday I started playing it.. I was level 15 when I was fighting Midgar Zolom (I know you don't need to fight it, but in chocobo catching I SUCK!), I used Barret to do the Mindblow (To reduce the MZ's MP to 0) , Cloud to use Cross Slash, and Tifa to use Beat Rush & Somersault... How come I say "Use" , well.. Everytime MZ attacked, it filled my Limit Break bar, I just waited until it attacked, used a Hi-Potion with another character, AND SPAM!
magic pots are found in the northern crater (sephiroths cave) i think , u can get sneak attack in battle square in golden saucer. and as for multiplying ur stock u can use X item and theres a certain way u can gain more items by using one elixer then on ur second start taping X and O and it will multiply ur megaelixers and any other item . hope this was helpfull to u i cant remember anything about the other questions
to answer #4, theres no perfect setup on morphing in the plane and tanks. you just need to raise yuffies strength stats first for and easier morphing. oh and if your asking why does she always gets the message "surprised" its because of the sneak attack materia.

after beating Ultimate wepon (or geting a black or green cocobo) u go to cosmo canyon and theres a rock and its a forest and it has some summons and pretty powerful shit in there but its like a puzzle and u have to figure it out and @ the end u will see two tresure chests on is an Elixer the other (Apcolypse) the only Triple Growth materia weapon besides Cids Scimitar
From a gameplay point of view, I guess Aeris' death could make people cry because frankly it's a pain in the ass that a character whose fighting style and overall usefulness is so different from everyone else's. I would have abused her Limits to the end of time in any No Materia or other weird challenge.

early leveling is extremely counterproductive, it takes you an hour to gain 2000 xp early in the game where late on you can get 10000 per battle.

Just finishing off a run through, picked me up a Master Command after I dropped off the Master Materias but cba to level my Summons and missing Shield Materia to get Master Magic, tbh I'm too high level to enjoy the fighting any more. I have Barret or Vincent with Auto Barrier/MBarrier, Master Cover and like 5 Command materias so battles including boss battles are ending quick :( Anyone ever done a low level game? Are they fun? Might try a speed run but I just love the story :P

I mean, it doesn't look like his legs are moving, he's carrying her in his arms, and the pool is indeed deep, 'cause she sinks... Besides, his legs would have to be kicking real hard to keep up...I just don't know.

Cloud, Barrett, and Tifa was my party the whole game through on my latest play through. This latest one has been the best--I'll upload a video.
All characters max stats, 3 KoR, 3 4x Cut, 3 Mega-All, Master Magic, Master Command, Master Summon, W-Summon, All Final Weapons and Limit Breaks...etc.

I got FF7 on the PSP so I have an actual reason to use it and I thought this time round like on my 30th playthrough I'll literally do the game 100% collect all weapons, all items, all limits just everything. I'm about to get the keystone and all my characters are around level 60 now and just trying to get Aerith to learn her last limit so I can see what Great Gospel is like, I never bothered going past Seal Evil with her before for obvious reasons.

Question: I leveled up Aeris to level 40 throughout the game until before the Temple of the Ancients quest but I never got past her limit breaks beyond level 1. Seal Evil is the highest I've managed to make her learn. I really wanted to experience Great Gospel for myself but I guess I never will be able to. Here's the question, any ideas why?

To learn X-1 Limit Breaks, you have to kill a certain number of enemies with the character
So to get to limit level 2 for Aeris you have to kill 80 enemies

okay the limit breaks work as how many people you kill with THAT person, i think its every 60 kills for a new level of limit breaks and i dont know how you get the second one in the the level limit breaks, for example clouds level 1:braver, cross slash, level 2:blade beam, climhazard, it takes him 60 kills to get to blade beam, the person you want the limit breaks HAS to get the kill, not just be in the party. send me a message if you would like me to explain more detailed, im a master at ff7...

I personally am going through this game again and for Yuffie's father I used Bio3 on him and then casted demi repeatedly until he reached about 40% and then I just defended and stayed healed. If you attack when he reached 40% he counter's with cure2 but it doesn't counter the poison effect.

I remember this game as well. Amazing how many times I have beaten the game, but never owned it. I want a copy so bad, and online shopping is so expensive leading to it. Don't worry, I won't be feeling shame to use a gameshark for Aeris. She was one of my favorite characters. You were practically invincible as long as she was in your party.

after you go to wutai and get your materia back from yuffie, you can go to the tower of 5 pagodas or something. its the big tower thats on the leftside enterance of wutai. yuffie fights her father there. her, and her alone.

Yeah, he's right on that, but the thing that sucks is. Now I may not be 100% on this, but I'm almost positive you can' t fight Yuffies father on Disk 3. So if your on disk 3, you might be outta luck. Sorry D:

The best way for me was to capture 4 Great Chocobos and make sure I had two of the opposite sex. That way, when I go after a Good Chocobo, it would always be the opposite sex of one of my Greats. I repeat the same thing with the Wonderful Chocobo so that when I get a Black one, it'd always be the opposite sex of my wonderful. It would be difficult and unwise but you could actually do this with the River and Mountain Chocobos as well. I'd rather not.

the more kills vincent alone gets, he more damage it does...and i dont mean just 5 or 6 enemies...
I mean hundreds of battle before you see a good difference. Death counts as a kill but poison doesn't.

I always make it a point to get to level 16 before meeting up with Barrett at the beginning of the game, then making sure Barrett gets up to level 16 also. Then I make sure I get up to level 20 before finishing the second reactor, where you fall. Once they first let me out of Midgar, I immediately (don't even go to the town) cross the sands (with luck to not fighting the snake) and level up in that cave until about 35-40. Then I can breeze through most of the game.

The snake is easy...I killed him at level 13 14 and 11 with initial equips...Limit break him with tifa + cloud into standing up and then just PSN him with bio, all in backrow. Hyper/tranq doesnt matter...Just Aeris for healing, potions/hipotions whichever necessary :P

I hadn't played Final Fantasy VII in a long time, yesterday I started playing it.. I was level 15 when I was fighting Midgar Zolom (I know you don't need to fight it, but in chocobo catching I SUCK!), I used Barret to do the Mindblow (To reduce the MZ's MP to 0) , Cloud to use Cross Slash, and Tifa to use Beat Rush & Somersault... How come I say "Use" , well.. Everytime MZ attacked, it filled my Limit Break bar, I just waited until it attacked, used a Hi-Potion with another character, AND SPAM!

magic pots are found in the northern crater (sephiroths cave) i think , u can get sneak attack in battle square in golden saucer. and as for multiplying ur stock u can use X item and theres a certain way u can gain more items by using one elixer then on ur second start taping X and O and it will multiply ur megaelixers and any other item . hope this was helpfull to u i cant remember anything about the other questions

to answer #4, theres no perfect setup on morphing in the plane and tanks. you just need to raise yuffies strength stats first for and easier morphing. oh and if your asking why does she always gets the message "surprised" its because of the sneak attack materia.

after beating Ultimate wepon (or geting a black or green cocobo) u go to cosmo canyon and theres a rock and its a forest and it has some summons and pretty powerful shit in there but its like a puzzle and u have to figure it out and @ the end u will see two tresure chests on is an Elixer the other (Apcolypse) the only Triple Growth materia weapon besides Cids Scimitar

From a gameplay point of view, I guess Aeris' death could make people cry because frankly it's a pain in the ass that a character whose fighting style and overall usefulness is so different from everyone else's. I would have abused her Limits to the end of time in any No Materia or other weird challenge.
