  • magnifique !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • colon fue la inspircion de esta sinfonia... (s broma xd)

  • You are so right......got mixed up with another video of mine. Reference to Hubble has been removed. Thank You. Audio level low and I am not sure why. May have to change the music. Thanks again.

  • Viva Czechia!!!

  • Cada que escucho esta sinfonia la situo en mi mente con la Conquista de America. Bueno, para los europeos America significaba el Nuevo Mundo.

  • This sounded better on my 1990's casio Ca-110 keyboard

  • I was incorrect. Dvorak never became an American citizen. Age and mind are creating again. Sorry. Mea culpa.

  • I added this video to my playlist "ABSOLUTE BEAUTY"..

  • Reminds me of Morning in Per Gynt

  • awesome !

  • when i hear this i feel like floating in the space :P

  • Brilliant! Masterpiece!

  • Dvorak was from Europe. he became a naturalized American citizen.

  • @music784151 I don't think he became American citizen. He returned to his homeland after three years and loved his country.

  • Hello there Whitepine.

Been a long time, too long, but took another look at this Video and as beautiful as it was the first time I viewed it last time.

Sadly been ill for some 8 weeks, but much imporved at 74, ah well Se la Vie.

keep the productions coming my friend, you do a wonderful and excellent production at all times.

Your friends Clive & Pamela in South West France.

  • Dvorak was enamoured of the Negro spiritual "Goin' Home" which is the foundation of the New World Symphony. He became an American citizen and reflected his new home in his glorius music. The video that accompanies the symphony is magnificent! A great work of artistic expression and the folks who put this together are artists in their own right. Bravo!

  • @music784151 It makes think of Eastern and Central Europe, not America, sorry. Then again, I'm not American!

  • Brilliant. Excellent.

    Mohu být hrdým Čechem

  • @Dragowlin1

to si piš, že mužeš! ;-)

  • WONDER of a video for all senses!!!

Featured on our Channel's autoplay to accompany Background from "Our Town"

starring William Holden and Martha Scott.

    Thank you,

    bight on the galactic railroad

  • Thanks for the comment and for bringing this to my attention. I have edited the video description to read Hubble images. Thanks again

  • @whitepine nice montage but few if any are Hubble images... of course, one of the best pieces of music ever written.. I wish the audio level was higher..

  • I'm not seeing many photos here, to be honest. :P

  • @callofduty497 Poor Pluto, relagated to a chunk of ice.

  • Does Anybody Know The Real Name Of This Song?,I Forgot What It Is Called And My Band Teacher Told The Class But I Think It Is Something About "Going Home" I Didn't Understand Right....

  • @0506mishka

This movement of the New World Symphony is the tune used in "Going Home". Dvorak came first, though I actually heard Celtic Woman sing "Going Home" before I learned it was Dvorak, you're not alone!

So yes, there is a piece based off this called "Going Home".

  • @AlwaysReading2 Is this the one that has been played at the funerals of presidents?

  • @lillie1990am

I have no idea...I've actually never watched a president's funeral.

  • Excellent!*****

  • Smetana is regarded as the best from The Czech Republic but Dvorak certainly states his case with this composition. Anyway, I've never cared for the term 'the best'. I just enjoy what other people contribute to humanity :)

  • Yes, we Czechs can be proud of what was created by Antonin Dvorak

  • beautiful, meditating on the solar system and its revolutions is a great visualization exercise I might add!

  • This music is both beautiful and sad and was played at my fathers funeral.

  • This really is an incredible classic! ! ! Just gets better with time doesn't it?

  • In all those shots I feel, "Oh poor Pluto" :(

  • @soapman222

    Agreed.

Pluto is more of a planet than any of us.

  • i love your videos and all to my favorite music-beautiful!

  • Amazing piece of Antoni's symphony, It sure sends shivers down my spine as it did the first time i heard this beautiful tune back home in Czech !

  • Ummm... I think all of you need to understand that Dvoraks symphonies 8 and 9 arent subtitled "from the new world" because he is writing about our Planet and Nature. The new world refers to north america, and how music should derive from other places such as europe. "The new world" was the nickname for the americas in the age of exploration. He wrote this symphony in New York, and the themes borrow from native american music.

  • @2cello I agree, but many other people have many other opinions. I like to think that Dvorak was more in-depth about his meaning of New World, as I would be, and the first thing this music tells me is "baby" as in newborn child. This child is experiencing a "New World" and the sheer beauty of this piece could represent the most beautiful of all, new life (or at least in my opinion). I hear the oboe at the beginning solo as being the voice of the parent holding his child for the first time.

  • makes me cry when I listen to this music a read the positive comments about Dvořák's ceation. He's one of the biggest men in our musical history and it makes me damn proud to be Czech! :)

  • gggg

  • That's a very clever music choice: photos of little-explored planets (new worlds!) with the music from the Dvorak's New World symphony.

  • Czech republik is really treasure house of culture.

  • @ondrando Slovakia, I think you'll find!

  • @ondrando yeah, we are...

  • This piece of music is simply beautiful... makes me cry every time. Absolute genius

  • @cat4marky One of the greatest slow themes from any symphony composer.Just heart wrenching.

  • @mrbrianmccarthy Only Mahler 5's Adagietto can rival, amongst a few others (Bruckner 7, most notably).

  • In one word just 'beautiful'. Such a deep feelings I feel right know.

  • Yes very nice movie;] Greate music

  • A great choice of music once again! Thanks for attaching this one in your PM Carl.

Each picture is stunning and staggers the imagination. The music compliments this video beautifully!!! I am so happy you are on You Tube!!!!! Thank you.....LISA

  • Congratulations,Whitepine, for the work is very, very beautiful and tastefully musical

  • Whitepine has done it again! The music is very beautiful as almost all music Dvorak wrote was to evoke a sense of appreciation for the beauty of nature; his music was rooted in his motherland's folklore and beautiful countryside. I just think that if I ever had a choice, I would have loved to be whitepine's next door neighbor! These people are true angels. All right America, do you want to be proud again? Be proud that you have people like whitepine live here. Thanks for uploading this video ...

  • i want to live on Saturn, with those beautiful rings. thank you for posting this beautiful tape.

  • Thanks a lot for this powerful music and beautiful journey through the solar system and flight views of our Earth, this strange planet that holds water.., air.., and so many beautiful life forms on board!
