  • great guitars, real rock. They could kick it and the next song makes you ponder the universe.

  • I listen to this song and it reminds of the short relation sship I had with a lady name Cheryl. I was working on my CompSci degree to ward my masters. I happened to meet her in a Calculus class and our relationship took off. We were inseparable. Some of the versus of the song like “I found you or maybe I found myself”, echo through my body and mind, because it applies so much to me. She opened up the side of me that had always been closed, from a relationship perspective. Luv you Cheryl.

  • I got to grow up listening to this the day it came out What can I say that has not been said already

  • I hope my neighbors like this song.....

  • @rubbersole79 Dude screw em crank this s#it up.

  • WOW man Kansas man

  • pardon me my feelings are showing, what a great song!!!1

  • 1 OF THE GREATEST SONGS OF ALL TIME!! LISTEN TO THESE DAMN LYRICS! AND THE MELODY! THIS IS IT! PRICELESS! THANKS KANSAS GUYS FOR THIS MASTERPIECE!!!!

  • kanasas their music is beyond the time . It is the songs for the decade.

  • @trisky1234

I know what you mean, I was looking for a song on how I felt, Unfortunately, I was looking in all the wrong places, until I found an old Kansas CD...

  • Fantastic band, I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to see them live.

  • Ok, here it is. Trilogy. I can relate, all the way.

    Great guitar work.

  • i saw them once at veterans memorial coliseum in phoenix AZ. Spectacular show... really beeg shew [as they say]

back when concert tickets cost less than ten bucks apiece--for box seats!!

  • Yes I am.One of the great concert halls in the country.Been there at least 75 times for shows and across the street at Waterford Inn for drinks, before and after.I have 2 shows coming up there... Steely Dan and Australian Pink Floyd. Can't wait.

  • Kerry suffered a stroke and needs our prayers..

Get well soon my friend !

  • The remastered Leftoverture disc sounds so great- even has a couple previously unreleased tracks added. Rock on!

  • You are right about that! I bought the remastered versions of Song For America and Leftoverture. The sound quality is amazing, and the original liner notes and photos are back.

  • After all these years and some 650+ concerts later,Kansas at the Tower Theater, new years eve "Left Overture" tour still, sends chills thru out my body.Just about a near perfect concert.Ranks right up there with Pink Floyds "Animals" and "The Wall" tours.

  • Are you refering to the tower theater in Upper Darby Pa, I grew up in Upper Darby. That place is a part of me. You seem like me. I am you and what I see is me. Is that an echo I hear.

  • kansas rocks i have seen them live 8 times at least 1 time stood in the rain for 4 and a half hours to rock with them for a hour show!! got stoned and tripped at summerfest and it was worth every minute

  • I have seen Kansas live in concert twice. Once with David Ragsdale on violin and once with Robbie Steinhardt back in the lineup. Both times they put on an excellent show.

  • that sounds amazing

  • Anyone else play guitar to Leftoverture and Point of No Return? One of the highlights of my life, even if it was by myself at home!!

Why can't music be like this now?

  • Agreed! Corporate music has over run good art.

  • I second your opinion on that. Corporate music has really become a problem. They don't make much good music these days. A few newer bands that I do like are The Bravery and The White Stripes.

  • this song is so great!! anyone else out there that remembers?!

  • Thank You!

Yes this is a great song, but it was not on The Best of Kansas nor had anybody posted it on Youtube before I did. Many of us do remember, that is why it has over 1000 views.

  • Yeah... Fight Fire with Fire got on The Best Of while this didn't.... :|

  • The Best of Kansas was a bit of an anemic collection. This song, Portrait (He Knew) and People of the South Wind were not included. On the original CD there were no songs from Kansas, Monolith, or Masque. On the Remastered version they included the Pinnacle from Masque. I am also not a big fan of the Elefante era Kansas either.

  • Correction, one person (RebelNC) had posted it before I did, but it did not seem to appear when I did searches for it. It showed up in related videos when this one is open.

  • im 50. dont . count me ot. saw them in hucthinson.

  • Haha, indeed it does! Although perhaps not quite as freaky as that of Porcupine Tree's In Absentia. Anyway, thanks so much for the advice. I just bought Leftoverture, Masque, Point of Know Return, and their eponymous album today, and they all sound fantastic.

  • Thanks for posting. I am totally purchasing this album.

  • You are Welcome! In my opinion Leftoveture is their best album. Also check out their album Masque. It is also excellent, even though it has strange cover art.
