i am thinking about doing that but i don't know if you put epoxy on then fiberglass sheet, then more epoxy or what

Yes, resin, then glass sheet, then resin. Finish off with a final coat of epoxy to create a smooth surface.

what kind of foam is this guys?

this foam is sale only by "prochima"-italy at around 95€. it's a pre-shaped foam, very hard and not so good to shape. this producer, released this foam with machine at computer control, but about me, isnt' so good foam. btw, i released with my super-calculation :))) a shortboard 7' who permitt me to surf in small waves in italy with my important weight of 85 kg!!!
