I really like the look of him. He really seems confident throwing from both sides. This is what you need to become a good, strong, and publicized pitcher.
I played tennis righty and baseball lefty. Usually I write with my right hand but i can write with my left too. I hadn't so much power at throw but my accuracy was awesome and I hadn't any probl at bat. I am left-footed when I play soccer. It seems I am 5 times stronger on my left side, it's clearer when I play arm wrestling with my friends.
actually he is in Class A. Also I know Pat personally (I am also ambidextrous) because I also work with his trainer. I reason he is slower lefty is because he throws side arm lefty
to get better movement on his slider. If he threw over the top he would be about 90 just like his right arm.
Dear Matt Kelly, Pat Venditte, public at large, et al.,
I am looking extremely hard for an ambidextrous glove for my son, soon to be twelve. Does anyone have some good contact information at either Mizuno or LS TPX that will get this glove either made or sold?
just come to a creighton game sometime when they are at a college near you and you might get to see him pitch, I get to see him during the spring and the first time he came out the umpires had to "dust off the rulebook" and it states that he can only switch pitching hands after each hitter is done with there at-bat...
he a good pitcher

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Btw, according to Dr. Johanna Barbara Sattler, ambidexterity is not an advantage, but it's the mark of a SEVERE BRAIN DAMAGE

he switches because he can and it throws of the batters
if they r timing you ther first at bat wen your throwing right and you get up to bat next time and hes throwing lefty its goin to b hard to adjust

he throws like a bitch lefty. I've been switch throwing since i was 11 or 12 and my left arm is stronger and more accurate than his.

Great. How's your right-handed pitching? Oh, wait.

By the way, as of 2007, he was hitting 85 with his left. How about you?

And he's pitching Rookie ball for the Yankees. I'm sure this clown doesn't pitch Minor League baseball.

I didn't know the New York Penn League was Class A. I thought they were Rookie.
But this other guy seems to think he's better than Venditte and I doubt that this guy is even as close to as good.
tribefan011 3 years ago
yea NY-Penn League is Class A short season as opposed to Class A Advance. yea that other guy is an ass and probably cant throw with either hand.

so hes doing pretty good.

Thats weird but cool , But the question is can he hold the hitters down switching pitching lefty and righty
TopProspect15 3 years ago
so is it legal for him to just switch in the middle of an at bat.
Jordan23Legend 4 years ago
no i think i read somewhere that he has to stay on that side throughout the at-bat
eric1ho 3 years ago
through out the batter if pinch hitter comes up in the middle of a AB he can switch
futureKazmir 3 years ago
no, he has to tell the umpire which side he is going to throw. he cannot switch during an at bat.

why would anyone waste their time doing that
hockeyfan218 3 years ago
A pitcher with 60 pitches on the right and 40 on the left is less tired than one pitcher with 100 on the same arm.

no i mean y would anyone waste their time going to c a creighton game they suck anyway so does venditte
