after much research,i have determined that the founding fathers tried to hold the inevitable at bay as long as they could,work with what they could.the major changes came around the turn of the last century.in the early days of the colonies,they did not celebrate christmas for example.they knew what they were dealing with,but then,as now try to get the majority to get it.read the bill of rights with the constitution,they were meant to go together.
