GET. MORE. RAM. AND. MAKE. SURE. YOUR. COMP. IS. UP. FOR. IT. Because otherwise singleplayer will be laggy as hell. And make sure to play at least 1 singleplayer race (don't have to complete it) or test out a car in Career before you head out for the usually less laggy Multiplayer.

first of all if single player lags depend on anything its graphics card not ram. multiplayer only depends on how good ur internet connection is. dont caps if ur noob D:

1. I have *no* problems when testing out cars or smashing them, or in multiplayer, but only when it's not a derby (lots of crap flying around).

2. Excuse my earlier, uneducated comment; you need a better CPU (expen$ive!) AND a better graphics card AND make sure the motherboard is up for both.

3. My internet connection's fine AFAIK.

Dude. Then you DO need a better GPU if you lag out when loads of crap is flying about...

Either that, or a better processor, or both. Your RAM seems to be fine since you can play it without any lag apart from the laggy loads of shit flying around places. RAM stands for Random Access memory. Lagginess in a game is caused by PROCESSING. So either your Graphics PROCESSING unit or your PROCESSOR is the problem.
