  • This gives me the strength to further explore myself. The music touched me. Beautiful.

  • Thank you :)

  • Still one of my favorite videos.

  • really interesting combination of images Jennifer.

  • wow i must be behind how in the world could i have missed this masterpiece?!! this one could move mountains

  • Cat Power!!!!! I love the "film poem" concept - I always tell people Stanley Kubrick is my favorite poet (for real)

    (Well, him and Kiyoshi Kurosawa)

    Anyhoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo 5 stars

  • I come for watching this video again... wow...

  • Thank you. I am inspired again... So glad you do this. Each piece is such a gift to experience.

  • Great video...

  • I wished to come by here again. I see new things each time I watch and listen.

  • who loves you pretty lady:)

  • You sure do make spectacular videos. The music, the images, everything about this is wonderful. I especially like the shot of the shuttle at the very end.

  • Thank you Julian! =)

  • that was pretty cool.

i loved the lighting effects in the beginning, the shot of the ground as the rain hits it, and (of course) the shots of yourself veiled in shadow.

    classic

  • Thank you! Rain can be so mesmerising =)

  • I felt like rewatching this, and realized how absolutely original this is.. Thanks for being so creative =]

  • Thank you Jordan, I'm lucky to have you as a friend =)

Rewatching this made me want to grab my camera and start making another film - but I must wait a little while and get my work done first, hehe ;)

  • Well that's obviously the more important thing hehe ;D. Are there any breaks coming up before october? Or just constant work until the?

Oh, and I'm lucky I looked for "The Strangers" Movie trailer =]

  • No breaks- but not long left to go now =)

  • Beautiful!

  • well thought out video, full of creativity, and hope!!thanks ^_^

  • Thank you Elvira!! =)

  • You rock Raven!!)

  • <.... till the end(just for our understanding because there's no end) where the human want to be the creature. the end of the vid was exactly showing the infinite way that the brain will bring the mankind. yeah, it started with a fixed tree and it finished with a high speed shattle. that's where I want to scream!! and shout and cry!:) this is your best video in your videos that I watched.

  • Thank you very much Hooman! =)

  • First look: there are lots of my favorits in the tags of this video

After the vid: wow... you have a deep look.

second look: it's a really thoughtful video. you left all the deduction process for the viewer.I don't want to hurt this video by giving any direction in the meaning of this video. but I want to say my idea about this vid, I felt the power of the human's brain during the vid. from the begining that mankind just watch to the nature...>

  • That was really great. My fav poem is the Raven :) I've done a remix version of it. I should post it on YouTube someday when I do some video for it.

  • Very Beautiful!:)

  • very thought provoking, beautiful.

  • beautifull

    & well put together

  • very interesting..and original..and compelling..5***** Robby ;)

  • Raven - your work is as beautiful as you are. 5*/fav

  • Thank you so much Tina! =)

  • this is very nice work...do another experiment soon :)

  • nice!

    El Fennias Bog

  • I like the video on the whole, but i can't help thinking that alot of the footage of you seems unnecessary to the video. Like it's in there as a big billboard to say 'this video is artistic', and although you're definitely pretty, it doesn't really add anything artistically. Also, while some think that your look is intensely deep, or deeply intense, I think it looks like someone acting like they are deeply intense.

n.b. I don't mean to be destructive, rather constructively critical. Good work

  • Wow that was really good Loved it 5 *

  • well done

  • very nice :)

  • marvelous

  • I love the way you've done the trees at the start, they look magical.

  • Thanks again. Have fun and all the best wishes. Keep up the good work.

  • btw, what's the songs name? :)

  • I like this! I had trouble linking the expressions (?) conveyed by the shots of you, to the other scenes though. But I *will* say, you're really pretty! ^_^

  • oh und 1:33 ;oD

  • wundervolles experiment. am schönsten finde ich an 0:48 das man den regen hören kann und deinen blick danach.

  • Wow a lot of "Thank you's" =)

  • I hope your week is the best and all of your dreams come true!!

  • Many thanks Reid! =)

  • A great video. Youtube needs more of these!

  • Thanks Jay!

  • what's the song?

  • "Maybe Not" by Cat Power ;)

  • I like it very much!

  • Thank you! =)

  • great montage

  • Thank you =)

  • Superb. Many of these images deserve to be framed and placed on the wall.

  • Thank you very much David!

  • One word. Stunning.

  • Thank you Ash!!

  • This video was stunning, Jennifer. I have to admit that you have a gaze that is difficult to meet for long. It's powerfull, and I pity/envy those that you would unleash it on...

  • Trust me Stephen. The word you're looking for is envy.

  • Thank you Stephen ;) It is a weapon I did not know I had, I shall be careful with it now ^^

  • with great power comes great responsibility. having a mind that matches the intensity of the look is quite a gift. cherish it.

  • Thanks very good and creative too! Wonderful. Now enjoy your weekend.

  • Thank you Gabby! I hope you do too =)

  • me likes!!

  • Thanks, AntaresInScorpius!

  • Lets all board the "Ravenship". Destination: To populate new worlds of the imagination. Worlds of happiness, creativity, passion, and Love! : )

  • I loved the transition from thinking to seeing with the mind's eye starting at 1:15. The tunnel picture helped to illustrate it nicely. And your first acting with emotions at 2:50. Sweet! You are breaking new ground in RavenCinematography! I agree with the message; we need this world and so-called life, to feed us and keep us going, but it doesn't mean we have to stay here when our hearts and minds can soar like a rocket plane to "other worlds" of the imagination!-Take us with you! : )

  • Thank you Brian! =) It is tricky sometimes having only myself to 'act' in my videos, I was a bit more daring than usual this time in that I tried to show a bit of emotion as you picked out, hehe ;)

  • So beautiful, To pull this off in such great fashion shows how talented you are, I have such highly regards and respect for you.

  • Thank you Jim, that means a great deal to me =)

  • You did it again!!! Simply awesome!! Wonderful, wonderful video, or piece of art I should say...

  • Thank you so much! =)

  • nice job Jenny

  • Thanks Daniel!

  • not bad at all for a punk.

    three thumbs up.

  • hehe, thank you very much ;)

  • Very nice. In a world that is getting more and more crass every day, your creativity and civility are reassuring. Thanks.

  • Thank you very much, stars1861. Spending time on videos like this is a brief escapism from that crass aspect of this world, and it makes all the difference for me. It is heartening to hear that another can escape with this video for a moment too =)

  • Just beautiful Jenny!

    5 stars.

  • Thank you John!

  • Top Darts... Favourited & Rated

  • Thank you very much Neil!

  • That was very impressive Jenny.

  • Thank you very much Eddy! =)

  • Where do I start here, that was amazing Jen.. breathtaking footage mixed in with subtle but powerful music.. The clips just fit with the music perfectly, It was basically just awesome!! =DD

  • Thank you Jordan! It was hearing this song that inspired me to make the video tailored specifically to it =)

  • very creative with your work, filming production and editing its very nice.

    Very good scenery and music.

  • This is GREAT video! Shared, its brilliant

  • Thank you so much Dylan! I am honoured that you shared it =)

  • I think I recognised some locations, or was I deluding myself? Was part of it New South?

  • I enjoyed :)

  • Thank you Quaff! =) Now to work on that chess piece, hehe..

  • I recognised a few there too Quaff! Nice to see some familiar locations.

  • Simply breathtaking.

    I'm lost for words.

  • Thank you Michael ^^ It seems I was too during the making of this video, hehe

  • LOL! Consider yourself lucky I was speechless when I wrote this! I came within a whisker of dropping the text of that email into a bunch of comment panels. Once I started to find words it was hard to stop! ;D

  • You know, this reminded me of the movie "The Fountain" (2006). They have so much of the same elementes. Have you seen it? I bet you have, hehe... It's really deep.

  • I certainly did see that film, back when it was first released, and it intrigued me greatly. I remember scenes of great beauty and also of great distress. It was definitely like no film I had seen before. I am surprised that this video reminded you of it, but looking back perhaps there is some similarity in the surreal, reflective and perhaps also disjointed nature of the two, hehe. I would like to see that film again sometime now you have reminded me of it ;)

  • I'm surprised you're surprised :)

Similar elements are the big tree, the golden light, the solemn music, the focus on mood and symbolic images instead of words, the focus on human emotions and memories, leaving PLENTY of room for the viewer's interpretation, trippy dreamlike visuals and the ascension of the space shuttle with a golden glow around it, which is quite like what happens to the main character in the end. That part stays in my mind because it was emotionally charged and beautiful.

  • simply wonderful !!

    Gratulations !!

  • Thank you Eduard! I had a lot of fun making this one =)

  • i know,

the edges of your lips (sorry, don´t know the correct english word) sometimes told, that you were quite near to loud laughing.

Looked like you had to work hard to keep them in control.

  • what can i say if i was 20 years younger id come to oz and

  • Film poem was definitely the word for it. Wonderful.

  • Thank you Jeff!

  • Perfection. Thankyou. I cannot say anything. How pure and bright are your dreams. They take flight with hope of all that is exquisite and magical. A mystery unveiling.

  • My deepest thanks, Angelo. Being unable to sprout wings and take flight myself, I must do so in my dreams and imagination. For me, the true perfection lies in that there is an audience here for this type of thing =)

  • What can I say?

I'm not easily impressed, but that was impressive.

    spider.

  • Thank you Spider! That is very encouraging to hear and certainly makes me want to get to work on some more creative videos =)

  • I think 'djplazma' said it all! Your always a class act! Mahalo!

  • Thank you very much Rick!

  • Simply & Completely Awesome.

Jennifer, your work is equal parts Grace, Class, and Elegance.

Thank You for such a great piece of work.

  • My sincere thanks to you Jim! I was not sure what place film poetry had in the world but it seems there is indeed a place for it =)
