  • thats a good dog,my pitbull couldn't play with a baby.

  • @nl25c There are 2 APBTs that are in the same household & they are both awesome with the baby & ferrets.

  • Awesome Dogs between the boerboel and cane corso would I trust with such a young child. Great temperment.

  • that black guy has some serious balls

  • nice dog!

  • sick..loyal

  • I'm getting one early next year, and we have a ferret as well. Lovely breed, we're all super excited!

  • great vid, this is the exact reason I order myself a boerboel pup yesterday...can wait to get it

  • Send me a email with info. I would like a puppy within the time frame of a year.

  • Do you sell puppies?

  • @AterMansGodsHarbor Yep, I do to appropriate homes. =]

  • @WorkingBB

great dog! seems very stable! where did you get him from, im becoming very interested in one!

  • @Akocani Thanks a bunch! I bred him, though I don't own him.

  • its south African it hates black people obviously

  • @hungrybob74 See the response to BossOyama below. I find it troubling how your collective minds work. :(

  • @hungrybob74 dogs are colorblind asshole they couldnt tell if you were white black purple green or orange anyway go be a biggot somewhere else please

  • That must be a very brave volunteer you got there!! ;)

  • niiiiiiice , if i didnt love pitbulls so much id own a boreboel

  • Beautiful dog and what a wonderful personality! <3

  • are you training it to attack black people?

  • @BossOyama Now that's just silly! Personal Protection Dogs protect their families *from harm* -not specific races of people!

  • magnífico.

  • That is the perfect example of the Boerboel, I would never trust my child with any other breed. The Boerboel is bred for this and will protect you and your family through any situation, for they take you as you belong with them. After owning many different breeds over the years, I was introduced to the Boerboel about 17 yrs ago. I have never owned a more loyal amazingly smart breed of dog in my life. They will protect you even if they have to put their own life in danger's way. thanks for video

  • This is so sweet. When I started crawling my mother couldn't keep up with me and my hyperactive brothers so she trained our beagle to 'hunt' for me. She would follow me around and if my Mom needed to find me she would tell the dog and the beagle would run off and bay and point at me. I probably also chewed and pulled on that poor dog just like this little guy. What an amazing relationship we humans have with dogs!

  • sure it is a boerboel? it lookt abit like an dogo canario. but anyway. your dog has a perceft personality :) alot of energy then playing. willing to protect and realy good with children. if your dog is stolen one day its me :)

  • @0kriz Haha.. I owned both his parents -who were both Boerboels, so the likelihood of producing a Presa from 2 BBs should be pretty low! >=^P

I DO favor the longer-limbed, tighter-faced "Farm Type" Boerboels over the heavier "show type", & IMO that type & Presas DO look similar. The temperament of the BB is still different than that of what you'll typically find in Presas tho!

    Thanks for the compliments!

  • are you nutts??!!

how can you let the babie get that close to the dog??!!! what if the dog got hurt??

  • this video has heklped me make up my mind. i will be joining the ranks of boerboel owner very soon. thank you for posting.

  • @mouslam -Not all BBs are selected & bred for the same abilities & temperament. If you want one with this kind of temperament, make sure both the parents have been tested & shown to also have it!

    Good Luck "shopping around"! =]

  • @mouslam same thing overhere, we wanted a boerboel already 6 years ago,but because we never had a dog before, we got a newfoundland dog/landseer/bernese mountain dog mix, because the boerboel breeders advised us not to start with a boerboel as your first dog. Whenever our dog leaves this world( He is 6 now, hopefully he still has some years to go) we will get a boerboel. I just love this breed!!

  • DENMARK BANNED THIS BREED- AMONG 12 OTHERS. HOW SICK AND SAD

    :-(

  • A very good example of the breed. We have a 15 month old male and a 7 month old female, I can't say enough good things about these dogs.

  • Say if the owner is not home and a friend comes over. Will the dog attack or will he just bark to scare off the person he doesn't know? What I'm trying to ask is how dose the dog know if a person is a intruder. Say I was the intruder in the video dose the dog attack anyone who walks through the door or did you have to command the dog to protect?

  • @Dinamo36

Anyone who is not "Family" walking into the home without the owners' permission, DOES NOT belong there & would be repelled.

  • we have a 5 yr old female who is the kids best friend and the intruders nightmare...

    such a great breed ...

she is never far from my 2 yr old

  • This is one of the many breeds of guard dogs that have that natural instinct to "serve and protect" their family.

  • @LuckyNinja11

Breeders NEED to make a point in selecting for these character traits above all else, if they are to continue to be prevalent in the breed(s).

  • @WorkingBB Yes, i know. I was saying that as a good thing! I think that trait is very important for dogs to carry on. A very admirable breed.

  • Gorgeous dog! I am looking into getting one.

  • I have a 16 wk old boerboel who starts his protection training soon and I hope he does as well as your dogs. Its funny though he already has a good guard instinct when it comes to protecting me but when I babysit my 6 month old nephew my puppy always puts him first on who to protect first. I'm glad who are showing that just b/c a dog was bred to guard that it doesn't mean they r fecious.

  • I just purchased my Boerboel after thorough research into the best mix of guardian/family friend. This is what a breed should be, smart enough to know how to be both. Great video! Great breed! God bless, cute kid!

  • Perfect example of a fantastic breed <3

  • Thanks a bunch! He's my favorite male out of the litter.. not that I don't love all "my puppies"!

  • omg...that baby is attacking the dog

  • Excellent video showing various Boerboel traits, Keep up the great work!!!

  • OMG this is EXACTLY why I want a boerboel. I do not know another breed that is so tolerant of children, and yet at the same time so protective of their families. I have searched and searched, and I have yet to find such a well rounded dog. *SIGH* but I have to wait a year or more, until my family and I return to the US from Germany. Tashi, what is your website? I have seen you on some of the boards getting flamed, but if this is your end product, it's fantastic!

  • Oh my god looks like Bolo, Tashi you are the girl!!!!!!!

  • I know! ;]

I need to get out to your house to get a cute video of your adorable little girl climbing on "her puppy" too! LOL

  • STOP THIS MADNESS .....that baby is mauling that helpless dog lol oh the humanity !

  • I have a 20 month old girl and it looks all familiar. My boy is 134lbs.

  • And is the litter-brother to this male! =]

  • Tashi, That boy is absolutely AWESOME

  • Thanks a Bunch!! =]

His family did a great job raising him too!

  • A stable dog companion and protector.

  • Thanks a Bunch!! Your compliments really mean a lot to me! =]
