they are singing a beautiful and old cape verdean morna called verdianinha...verdianinha is the name of the song and it is a poetic term meaning 'beloved cape verdean girl'.
The lyrics is written by a male poet who is declaring his love and infatuation to a girl.
the song starts off by saying; my right hand I offer you my heart all for you,
in my left hand I offer a handful of perfumed flowers......
