  • you smoked i never new that

  • @1:33 That's a big girl. Very loving, I bet.

  • wow that was made before i was born!!

  • @ThatsTheVideoDuder Same. Were just Canadian ah?

  • I like this but this isnt exactly a time lapse haha oh well:) I like it! good job

  • @Reganluvsyooh A few frames taken once every 15 seconds. That's time lapse. It was done with a special attachment for my camcorder. With video technology at the time, it was not possible to do single frame recording unless you were shooting on film or using professional grade equipment with a single frame controller device. This was the shortest intervals that were possible.

  • @Zaranyzerak

You were very nice back then in apperance and sature. Your evening nicer and more kind today.

  • IT's good to see MMC Retro back... I'm glad this vid got an airing, I really enjoyed it.

  • who was that lady?

  • @yellowflash345 That was Mindy, my girlfriend at the time.

  • What forced me to quit was an aortic dissection. It's what killed John Ritter. Poor guy never had a chance. I had to make my doctor check 3 times. They were gonna send me home to die in my sleep from internal bleeding.

  • omg you look so skinny in this!

    no offence meant, mate! :)

  • I think its the smoking. I quit last year but I got fat EXACtly like him(No offence z-man. We in da same boat brudda-man!) I'm his same age and look(ed) like him kinda.

  • was you 19 year old sean in this vid wow so young

  • Zaranyzerak I remember in your Sony Fanboy videos you showed an older Camcorder that you called an old busted sony camcorder.

Was that the same camcorder used to record the MMC Retro videos?

  • Nope, that old busted one was actually the one Jason was using at the time. He sent it out to me when he got a newer model, but it didn't work anymore. My old one was stolen many years ago...

  • that room could have been cleaner! those scissors shouldn't be in shot!

  • See previous comments about the scissors.

  • hey what happened to sean?

  • Now that's some fast footwork! Great stuff buddy even then your attention to pacing in your edits & choice of musical score boggles the mind hehe!

  • wow !!! your rhythmic fortitude is amazing . i too have a gift for music (when making random music with music 2000)

  • lol Is that an LCD-screen in the closet in the corner on the right? (The closet next to the media-one.)

I really can't think of what else it might be, maybe a photo-frame or something, but it seems to be black inside the frame. XD

It does seem to have a wire running to it, unless it's for something else...

It just looks so much like my monitor when it's turned off, as I have one with a silver frame...

  • You mean that big thing on the shelf? No, that's one of my stereo speakers laying on its side to fit in the shelf. It's actually wood-colored, not silver. You can see the other speaker on a chair on the opposite side of the media center. That was the best way I could get decent separation for them (without having speaker stands). Also remember this is 1991 - the closest thing we had to an LCD screen back then was a GameBoy...it was still a CRT world!

  • Oh sorry, the other speaker is on a small table, not a chair. But yeah. Not an LCD monitor. They didn't exist back then.

  • @Zaranyzerak But but but TV speakers are good enough....*dodges tomato*

  • Ah, why didn't I think of that.

I couldn't really see the depth, it kind of looks like some thin frame.

But I see it now, especially when you think "retro" the darker wood-finish makes sense. :P

And yeah, I do watch these retro-videos with the time in mind, but I thought you perhaps might have had some type of... new screen.

I don't know, could have been a really small projection-screen which were also popular right.

Not sure if those existed then.

But it would have to be extremely compact.

  • holy shit man is that really you? god damn u look so much different

  • love the music! its like music to have sex to!or a fast-paced, busy-boy task.whatever floats your boat.

wish more people recorded there lives.not vlogs or whatever.videos just showing hangout(like what you've done)or,displaying new product from that time period.everyday people giving little glimpses to different years.would be closest thing to a time machine we could have.

imagine if home-video cameras were available in the 50s.imagine if someone recorded there life then.and we viewed it today

  • I hope you quit smoking

  • I checked, it's a single frame from one of the early 60's episodes of Doctor Who. Left to right is William Russel as Ian Chesterton, Jacqueline Pierce as Barbara Wright, and Wlliam Hartnell as The Doctor (he was the first actor to play the role). Can't tell what episode it is from that frame, but it is likely an episode from Series 1. It must have been what I was taping over, I checked something on the camera while doing the time lapse and didn't QUITE cue it back up exactly where I left off.

  • @Zaranyzerak I FINALLY managed to pause the video at the exact moment that image appears. You're right about it being Doctor Who.

  • You call soda pop? Thought that was just an Illinois thing, guess it's international :)

  • tv effect was cool!

  • God, I miss the 90s.

  • I didn't know you smoked?

  • That's really cool my friend!

  • Great video and I think I noticed some laser discs?

  • HI there, great to have you back. I hope you and your family had a great christmas, and hope you all have a great new year. :-)

  • Love the music, Carpenter style, suitable for a horror movie...and cleaning ones apartment sure can be terrifying.."oh look, an unpaid bill from last year!!"

  • 0:46

    Subliminal Message?

  • Tape glitch.

  • yup, something lost now (pretty much). The great tape glitches. any glitch NOW seems to be blocky or what not.

I almost MISS tape glitches like that, ya know the ones you knew EXACTLY when they happen in the tape.

  • awesome...genius at work

  • wow thats really good!!.is stain guard still around? and i enjoyed ur stickam show(despite it was lagging)

  • lol

  • "and now a time lapse video of me... cleaning!" *creepiest smile ever* You OVER-HOARDER!!! ;)

  • It's a little strange but the old clear Old Dutch bags really stood out to me in this one hahaha. Wow that carpet sure cleaned up good!

  • love these retro vids. =)

  • That time lapse thangamy-doo was pretty cool! I expect it was very expensive too you fortunate young man.

  • Wouldn't know, I got it as a gift! :D But yeah, those doohicky's were rare at the time (even just for the remote control function), so I imagine it cost a pretty penny or three.

  • SO THIS IS YOU FOR REAL BACK IN THE DAY?

  • Yes.

  • No, it's him now.

He tried the Banana SLURPEE instead of the Coke one, and lost weight really fast.

  • Yes indeedly-doodly! That was my very first LD right there. And I think the ONLY one I owned at that time.

  • This is unrelated to the video, but we had talked about the topic before when you were reviewing the Legacy Collection dvds. So how about my brother got me the Wolfman Legacy Collection for Christmas...and I open it up...and it has the "Legacy Series" disks inside. Not the 4 pack of Wolfman movies, rather the special 2 disk edition of just the first one! I dont know if I should take it back, and try another one, or if they are doing this with all Legacy collections now. Either way, it's BS.

  • WTF! Yeah, that's just not right. Was it the same set (externally) as mine? If so, that's a total cock-up.

  • I would suggest taking it back for an exchange, then open the exchanged one RIGHT THERE IN THE STORE at the customer service desk where you do the exchange, so you can check it. If they've got a bad batch, they'll need to get the fixed. It should be a single sided disc and a double sided disc with all the movies across both.

  • The disks say "Special Edition". Yah, thats what Im gonna do. I have all the other ones, just needed this last one, and it's like "Suprise!" I could see them doing that though, and thinking noone would notice. Unless you really look at the back of the box, you'd never know it was supposed to be 4 movies. I just know it's gonna be a pain to try to explain to the customer service rep at Walmart the difference between "Legacy Collection" and "Legacy Series" in order for them to let me exchange it.

  • I like how the "clean" room includes a pair of scissors laying right in the middle of the floor :)

  • Well it's good to keep those onhand at all times - you never know when you'll have the urge to cut stuff! :D DIVE FOR THE SCISSORS! I MUST CLIP COUPONS!!!

  • Good time's :)

  • i should have waited for the end of the vid before i posted the comment lol great music man :)

  • Silly boy! Thanks! :)

  • nice music man what is it? sounds like the style of dolby

  • SWEET

  • cool vid!
