Shotgun Jet Sweep

I dont like the blocking schemes out of this particular video. My jetsweep , I have 4WR's which in my playbook is called the Spread Flex Form. 2 WR'S on each side then the RB. My flanker receiver, who lines up inside instead of outside, and on the LOS he blocks the strong side LB, the RB blocks the safety from the WR, and the slot receiver comes in motions and gets the ball and my jet sweep gets at least 7.5 ypc. Just that simple

well i am only a freshman n idk too much about it but my cousin played hs that ran the wing t n they were nj runner ups or top 4 but he even said it is terrible but everything likes n has their own offense n

WE run this at our school very good style it gives the defense to much to cover which usally leaves a hole and it also catches the LBs off guard. i was the WR in motion and i only run a 4.83 and i am a T.E in our other formations so it shows that it requires a good read more than speed

i'm guessing dutch767676 was on the receiving end of a whoopin from a single wing- double wing - wing t team. dutch, if the player is learning fundamental blocking , tackling , ball handling ect ect then they are learning FOOTBALL no matter what offesne the coach is running. If a coach heavily hits these areas then downgrading that coach over a style of offense is silly .

and a lil team we all know as the miami dolphins and i concure this is not the wing t some peopls ignorance to football i swear..but i do like the jet plays you have only thing i noticed on a few were sthe backs had the ball in the wrong arm. i really liked the fake jet hb under...you should be able to put a wingback on strong side and run an jet underneath reverse also..one coach to another

@dutch767676 Wrong you dont see it at the higher levels becasue of showboating wanna be super starts. The wing -T is a true team offense there is no stand out star every one has to play there part. and go watch a gramblin game they run the shit outta wing t and it was developed at the college level way back in the day. To top that off misdirection can never be shut down it is simply to easy to fool the mind of a deffense. pros use wing t sets mroe often than you think.

thats true but it takes time to do that and confuses some of the offensive players thats why most high school teams rely on 1 type formation.

I think you could add a different timing element to your passing game if you mixed it up a little. Defense wouldn't be able to get accustomed to the timing of you pass plays.

it seems to me that most schools at the youth leage u and even high scool level are going back to something similar or just like the wing-t. just different ways to run it. I think thats a good thing because you can do so much withthe wing -t that its somehting else. heck if I wanted to coach a youth football team I would run something like the wing-t or maybe the spread. actually laning more to the wing-t.
