Jennifer, your manufacturing jobs are leaving because the free market didn't give a crap about its employees. The Comps continued to turn out, year after year, crappy vehicles with shat gas mileage and no styling whatsoever. German, Japanese, etc auto makers offer better design, fuel economy, and safety. When the corps started to lose money, they changed slowly. It was too late and they are now stuck. Those jobs are long gone..innvovate, get college degrees and learn new skills. Reality sucks
