Pinball is 120 volts AC & car batteries are 12 V DC. There are power inverters available for car batteries. However, the delicate electronics of some pinball machines may not accept the pseudo-sine waveform the inverters put out very well.
I'd advise against it. I'm unaware of what wattage is required for specific machines too. I'm also unaware that the machines weigh more than 240 pounds each, but they might.
By the way, that "somebody" was Giuseppe Tartaglia, and that 3,280,030 would end up being lowest Addams Family score in the tournament!
