The commercial is so short, I thought the point of it was that he was some other guy, not her husband, and she couldn't see it. But ok, now I see the hair, and I guess the other point being that he's a balding older guy who she could do way better than. Which is kind of mean. This commercial is too clever for its own good.

This has some really unfortunate implications.. One, the guy is so blind he couldn't see the tag. Two, the girl is so blind she's dating the wrong guy. What. They're saying that guys like him shouldn't be able to get women like her? Or that guys needing glasses can't reasonably see a CLOTHES TAG?

The ad is for 2 pair of glasses, so they are BOTH blind and therefore missing something. He cant see the tag and she cant see he is a dork. thats why she says "Im the lucky one". Case closed.

I didn't notice the hair at first either and was initially disgusted with the insulting assumption that his looks were so all important that she needed glasses; as if the size of a person's heart or the quality of their character were irrelevant. I always thought either a) he was so blind that he didn't realize she had a screwed up haircut (but I always though big deal get her a wig and she's hot) or b) she was so blind she couldn;t see the guy was a dork.
