I voted for Barack Obama because I believed he had the edge on intelligence and temperament, and the right views on helping the middle class. I'm glad I did. Still, like you, I revere our national heroes - and John McCain is a remarkable one.

Actually, the Constitution does not say anything about the requirements for citizenship - that is covered under title 8th of the United States Code section 1401. Subsection (g) deals specifically with children born outside of the U.S. to one non-citizen parent and one citizen parent. (Just for the record, when you travel you are still considered as living in the U.S.)
No matter how you slice it, Pres. Obama is a natural born citizen and therefore eligible to be President.

The View isn't a news report. It's a talk show. The hosts (with the exception of Barbara)are not journalists. Even Barbara is acting as a talk show host, not a journalist. This is completely different than a news anchor letting their personal opinion shine through. One of the main points of this show is to discuss their personal views. Many of those views happen to be more liberal. The show and its producers have the right to choose which people it has on the panel.
