The sisters live near Stella Maris home, I live in Guarulhos, right out of the Educational Establishment.
But the sisters who took care of me were other, the Benedictine Sisters of Divine Providence, which has contact with today. They were and are my family.
Don't speak or write Portuguese any more. Was adopted from Santa Terezinha when I was 6 years old. Santa Terezinha was my home between 1992-1997. I live in Sweden with my two lovely parents. My adoptive dad helped Santa Terezinha a lot. In 1999 I went back to visit Santa Terezinha. I got two sisters that were living there as well. We all tree got adopted at the same time.
Hope I found some one that was living there at the same time as me and my two older sisters.

Yeah, it really is very exciting to review the place of our childhood, a place even more special as it was (and is for other children) Educandário St. Therese.
I left it at 75 after 12 years of procedure, since the zero year of life.
Glad you were adopted by a good and caring family. You know, when reviewing some co-brother I am very sad to see the destination that many have taken in life.
There in the Educational Establishment, in spite of all that was offered, lacked the preparation for life as it is. I myself, with all assimilation of all the good that we were taught, when I felt really live with my parents. It was a shock. Although you can not learn about life as it is but actually experience it, and it just even within a family.

Estou emocionada em ver este video, pois passei minha infância no Educandário de 1993 a Dezembro de 2000.
Tive o privilégio de conhecer pessoas especiais, e a oportunidade de ter uma educação bem rígida, tudo oque sou ou represento hoje é graças o aprendizado e carinho que as Irmãs me proporcionaram.
Apenas quem já morou lá sabe o quanto significa hoje em nossas vidas as recordações daquela época.
Eu já tinha saído do Educandário 1975, mas sei o quanto significou a vida vivida pelos seus irmãos.
Apesar de nossa singela infância no Educandário S. T., onde não nos faltou o "telhado, a roupa, alimento", devo confessar que o mais importante de tudo, na vida de uma criança, que nos foi negado "a convivência com nossos pais"; embora eu tenha recebido uma certa dose de amor das Irmãs BDP. Que bom que vc optou em ficar com seus pais!

amigo, eu tenho quatro irmãos que esteve neste educandário no período de 1990 á 1995 mais ou menos....fico muito emocionado em ver estas imagens. eu não estive lá porque sou o irmão mais velho e na época tinha mais ou menos uns 12 anos de idade quando meus pais me perguntaram se eu queria ir ou não pra lá . pois eu só ia em dia de visita para ver os meus irmãos . meus irmãos foram muito bem cuidados lá , mas a história de como meus irmãos foram pra lá e como saíram é longa. abraços
