  • Excuse me, what is the proper spelling for thoe filters?

    Many thanks.

  • vision therapy cerebellum

  • carp!

  • Ever since i can remember they put me in special classes too. Having horrible spelling and reading. After all these years i finally found out am Dyslexic. Am 26 now and I didn't know it was a disorder. It has nothing to do with Intelligence which i knew deep down inside. But the whole time they made us feel like we were stupid. Now i find it to be a gift. Great things comes from adversity and the Stock Market is my ticket out. Pay Back Time...

  • They do work so shut up you dickhead

  • Way to go! My daughter got tested and she can read so much better now. Keep it up guys...don't let the bad comments stop you.

  • this is crap. soo not true

  • stop trying to scam money from dyslexics. if you know dyslexia then you know that there is no cure . you are pathetic con artists.

  • LOL you are funny funny funny.

  • take a hike ----twa(i)t

  • Cock

  • garlicth03 . was that a reply or a request?

  • Nicely said. This seems like just another way for people to exploit money out of caring / worried patents. Which by the way.... cost 400 bucks. Pathetic.

  • This is NOT true !!! Yes, it may cost money, but if you or your child has ever had reading difficulties, Irlen overlays and/or lenses may be extremely helpful to the individual. I know this because I have Irlen Syndrome myself.

  • There is abosulty no reason at all to charge such explotive prices. They know that worried parents will pay anything. There is no magic cure to Dyslexic.. and i find it rather evil that this video proposes that there is some "magic 400 dollar bullet"

  • The Irlen colored overlays only cost approximately $6.00 each, and can be used for several months, as long as it is cleaned with the Irlen cleaning solution regularly.

  • They can also be cut in half. Another way to lenghten the time of use is to place them in a clear sheet protector.

  • i don't know about these speicific lens but i do know there was a study that showed a blue filter sheet layed over a page help quite a bit . some thing about rods and cones was the reason

  • Sometimes they have been covered by insurance, sometimes not. It would be nice to have a payment plan.

  • My daughter suffered from head aches in class. In 3rd grade we found out about the lenses. Her headaches went away and she could actually read punctuation how it was written.

  • The Irlen institute is far from conning people. I was diagnosed in 1996 and was a c, d and f student skipping classes and pretty over life. I wore lenses and transitioned into college becoming a national debate champ with a 4.0 while double majoring, won industrial and graphics design awards, scouted for work and I found a surprising new dilemma in life. Being embarrassed by new found prosperity and opportunity. Irlen lenses are no joke and can dramatically change ones engagement with life.

  • I am going to check into these lenses.

  • Yes some of the issues become none issues with the Irlen glasses!! Its so great!!

  • I think this is my favorite video so far. His Irlen lenses look a lot like mine. He seemed noticably anxious when he took off his glasses, and then he read slowly. I do the same thing. My lenses help me to read a lot faster. College would be a lot more difficult without them. Thank you.
