so, i found this. felt glad i just done the cartoon version as well :)

Superfun...I enjoyed that! This animated version I had not seen. I remember watching this as a kid back in the 1960's. Great post...thank you.

After Dorothy & others returned, the wizard delayed them by a full week at least before allowing them in, not knowing how to fulfill his promises to the four of them.

The script is dead on otherwise.

Except the wizard stuffed Scarecrow's head w/BRAN in place of BRAINS, then sliced a hole in the Tin Woodman & put in a stuffed heart.

And the further adventures to Glinda's castle in the south, then Dorothy flew over the desert surrounding Oz, losing the slippers in transit.

@xoandre And the Lion having that drink. I really liked that ending the book had (despite the intense anger I had finding out that she could've gone back the entire time). Glinda is younger too. Agreed all the way.

And Dorothy did look closer to that in most of the books.

But I agree, without the gingham she looks like Alice!

@savion94 Yes, it certainly is. But ironically, it was made ONLY with English dialogue to synch with in mind. A Japanese audio track would not be made until 1986.

@savion94 It's another term for the film's soundtrack. A DVD, of course, can contain up to 8 audio tracks, usdually with different languages. Referring back to what I said before, English dialogue was recorded first for the English soundtrack. Japanese dialogue for this film would not be recorded until 1986, according to the Wiki page of this film.
