This is an exceptional film. I love the way they interpret the book. That Mina is a reincarnation of Elisabeta. And that Dracula becomes a blood-thirsty monster, to revenge his young bride's death. They take something ugly, a vampire story, a miserable beasty story and make it into a heart breaking love affair. I think it's genious and a real love story. On that is heart breaking and complicated, dangerous and soooooo sad. The movie is epic, and they chose of actors and actresses is perfect!
@dreamforever777 Gary Oldman and Wiona Ryder plays their parts perfectly, and so does all of the other talented actors and actresses. They're truly inspiring and their interpretation of the characters are dead on. These are real actors and actresses, they inspire so many inlucing me. So unlike the shit you find on tv now days.

Of course you know Dracula is one geezer who are near the end of his time but still long for that lost eternal. He or she will look for the youthful, full of vigor and of robust strength, who competitive traits are displayed among peers; the athlete, the lustful maiden, etc. So in a sense, Dracula could have been a mad physician who like to do blood transfusion on himself. Because the blood is life, full of exotic chemicals that make one unique.
pero en realidad crepúsculo no se compara con esta pelicula y debo decir que crepusculo es una pelicula que ami me gusta mucho pero en realidad no le llega ni a los talones,
ya que en todo la supera y tomando en cuenta que dracula es del año 1992.
How beautiful , listening to this is breath taking. Imagine if you ever find your self with a love so pure and great. I just hope this movie and its music survive for more generations. I have hope that something so remarkable will last...
Can we stop comparing this classic to Twilight? It doesnt come close. It only took one person to ruin what vampires were supposed to be for a whole generation. The novel of Dracula and the movie is brilliant.
that music was simply incredible, the strings make me weep every time I hear them and the winds? thank you for posting the movie, I want to skate a figure skating program to it, but I already have a long and this in a short might not serve the music justice :-)
@TheVampyer why hello, say no more, just one question, ive not mastered turning tears into high carat diamonds yet but my castle kicks ass like a donkey on speed.
@astralbluefish Does your castle come with a moat? I find them a most convienent way to dispose of the bodies. What about windows? I am somewhat sensitive to light.. Keep working on the diamond thing, and we shall see. ;)
@TheVampyer Yes my castle has a moat, well i say moat but its more of a septic tank , great for disposing of certain things, not sure if it can handle bodies. The bodies question kind of scares me off a little. Yes, windows a plenty, i love natural light flooding in. Having said that i have a wine cellar which you could hide away in and to be honest i would'nt blame you if you like the odd tipple now and again (have you heard of factor 15 suncream).
@TheVampyer Oh by the way, the tears into diamonds has become somewhat of a success for me,the diamonds are still crap but ive just won a major contract to provide very low grade diamonds for drill bits and cutting blades.

I agree whole heartedly on the quality of modern vampire films, one of the truely worst ones I belive, is the Blade series.. They took a legend, well accepted as sophisticated and well mannered, and turned him into what can only be described as a steriod abusing body builder who turns into a mix between Lucy from Species, and the bloody Predator...
@NeonFlash To me, this movie is as much of a blasphemy as Twilight, because it is totally unfaithful to Bram Stoker's novel. There is no love story between Dracula and Mina in the novel! Bram Stoker's story was about Jonathan and Mina. It's because of this corruption of Bram Stoker's novel by Francis Coppola that we ended up with stuff like Twilight in the first place.
I don't want to get into all the controversy going on about vampires right now because it pains me to see such beautiful creatures get dragged into all this hollywood business and pop culture. i will never forgive twilight for that. But I think you put this video together well as far as how the love between Mina and the count worked out. I would give anything to have that Gary Oldman Dracula for my own.
Of note, I worked with Radu Florescu when he was consulted for this movie. He is related to the original Drakula, and he knows all there is, literary and in of the real Vlad (who was actually a hero, vicious, but a hero). I know how these effects were done, and be reassured, even with the big names, they had to pull a lot of strings for effects. I was on set when Lucy was in the bed and covered with blood and know how that was done BEFORE hand. It's what you THINK you see, not what is!
I would be careful using the word hero to describe Vlad Tepes. His father Vlad Dracul, maybe, but Tepes, while brave and loyal, is guilty of far too much cruelty to be referred to as a hero. Granted, he lived in cruel times, so we can overlook some of his actions, but the Forest of the Impaled places him in the category of villian. At best, you can call him misguided. The name Tepes (Impaler) even denotes his cruelty.
I loved the book, and am convinced that Stolker wrote it in journals and diaries because he had to take a breath through fear of the very thing he was writing.
The movie is a keeper, and as per usual (Oldeman) gave an outstanding performance as (Vlad)
beautiful movie. brilliant cast. serious, dark, romantic story. haunting music. and something else, the atmosphere, the rawness, emotional depth, direction, something makes this movie so much better than any other vampire/dracula movie.
"Mina you will be cursed as I am to walk in the shadows of death for all eternity, I......love you too much.....to condemn you.."
this music is very beautiful, this melody make's me think and feel a lot of things, this dramatic and love melody is perfect to remember the lost passions on our lifes
@Chaotic69 Excuse me,but is not true.I'm a girl and i have 16 years and i hate twilight. But in changed, I love dracula and i love the work of gary oldman in the film.
for me Bram Stoker is the god of the world of vampires and the first in this kind of novels. Stephanie meyer without him is nothing and I think she is a liar with twilight.
Let me just comment on this whole Dracula vs. Twilight thing...
First off: Vampires are fictional. So, essentially, you cannot say what vampires are and what they are not for they don't exist at all! It is merely a matter of imagination and opinion! (Though I do agree that the whole sparkling thing is a bit stupid)
Vampires are a myth, and like every myth in the world, there are hundreds of versions of it. Stephenie Meyer knows no better than Bram Stroker.
@HeartLocker But this version explains the begining vampire's world. The movie show us the motivations of Count Dracula to challenge God. Dracula fought and defended Cristian religion but his reward was to lose his girl, life,...). The movies as twilight show us vampires teenagers, crazies, etc.; they are series to teenagers...). I prefer a deep story, with greats feelings, respect, maturity...).
Bram Stoker doesn't know jack about vampires. Watch Twilight instead.
Okay, first off, my TV must have broke, because this movie has no color in it! That's inexcusable, as they had color back then. Not only that, but the special effects are like a high school play's, and not even CGI. Plus this movie is all wrong with the assumptions about vampires. They don't die when exposed to sunlight. They just sparkle.
For a woman who knows about vampires, check out Stephenie Meyer.
Let me try to open your mind a bit. Let's say this first and foremost. Bram Stoker's Dracula is considered to be the most famous Vampire that has ever lived, and at one point the book out sold the Bible...something which doesnt happen way to often back then. Secondly, Francis Ford Coppola is an AMAZING Director. Every color (or what you describe as LACK thereof), and its level of saturation was specifically chosen to display a specific emotion.
@SirReikoErmac Let me try to open your mind a little. Bram Stoker's Dracula is a classic, but this movie is most definitely NOT Stoker's story. There is NO love story between Mina and Dracula, and the attempt to make one in this film misses the point of Stoker's novel and Mina and Jonathan's relationship. No one has ever done a faithful version of Stoker's novel, and the truth is, Coppola hasn't made a good movie since 1979's Apocaplypse Now. Every one of his films since then have bombed.
I'd have to disagree with you. You are in fact right....I have read the actual book, Dracula by Bram Stoker. However, though Dracula's love interest with Mina wasn't found in the story, the plight of Vlad's love (Elizabeta), is based off of fact. It is also largely commented on by the reading community that Mina had a very unsatisfying character and a lack of development. It's my opinion that Coppola imbued the character with so much more depth and much higher stakes.
@SirReikoErmac I'm sorry, but i'd have to disagree with you. All the depth that Mina had in the novel was stripped away from her in Coppola's movie. Stoker depicted Mina as his strong, superwoman of the modern era, a sharr contrast with Lucy's more giddy girlish character. The fact that Mina resists Dracula and helps the other destroy him rather than succumb to him as Lucy did is an example. The Mina in the movie has none of the strength of the Mina in the novel, and is reduced to a stereotype.
@SirReikoErmac And so what if the real Vlad Dracula had a wife? Bram Stoker did not intend to write a biopic of Vlad Tepes, nor did he write Mina as Vlad's reincarnated wife. Making Mina Dracula's love interest in this movie detracts from the Jonathan/Mina romace that Stoker wrote in the novel, which Stoker based on himself and his own wife. The novel is no more about Dracula than 'Jaws' is about the shark. The story is about Jonathan and Mina and told primarily from their perspectives.
@SirReikoErmac Jonathan and Mina's love for each other gives the novel its depth, and they are Stoker's main protagonists, yet Jonathan is always the most misunderstood and misrepresented character in movie adaptations. After Dracula's attack on Mina, Jonathan resolves that "if we find out that Mina must be a vampire in the end, then she shall not go into that unknown and terrible land alone." Jonathan would willingly become a vampire himself rather than risk him and Mina losing each other.
@SirReikoErmac As for Mina, she begs Van Helsing to kill her if she becomes a vampire rather than risk her turning on Jonathan. This total devotion to each other is much more mature and deep than the 'Twilight'-style vampire romance this movie pursues. Their victory over the forces of evil shows that difficulties and challenges can be overcome by everybody. They are just as normal as we are. Jonathan and Mina's love story is very comforting, since they face challenges, suffer, and yet survive.
@44excalibur It seems very good that you read three times Stoker's story but make a mistake saying that Coppola hasn't made a good movie since 1979. You watch movies as Bela Lugosi's Dracula, Dracula 1979, Crhisopher Lee's Dracula and will understand as others directors made the same as Coppola: the center was Mina and Dracula's love. The book will be different but coppola's version is very very good. You maybe prefer Van Helsing, Blade, Twilight, etc.). This film (Coppola) is good. You know it.
@IronEagles16 I will say this once more: "THERE IS NO MINA AND DRACULA'S LOVE!" Nowhere in Bram Stoker's novel is there any romance between Mina and any other character except for Jonathan Harker. The Dracula in the Bela Lugosi film only intened to make Mina another bride like the ones he had back home and she was mostly an unwilling victim, as was the Mina in the Hammer version. The 1979 version had Lucy as the female lead, not Mina. And I HATE 'Van Helsing,' 'Blade,' and 'Twilight.'
@IronEagles16 And I'm sorry, but this film is too flawed to be good. Overacting by Hopkins, lousy acting by Reeves and Ryder, overdone, pretentious directing by Coppola, and a complete lack of respect for the source material, not only in manufacturing a Mina/Dracula romance that kills the spirit of the novel, but in forgetting to be a horror movie, since it's just not terrifying in the least. Only Gary Oldman did a good job, but he's in the wrong movie. He's doing 'Braveheart' with Vlad Tepes.
@44excalibur I think that you are hard with your opinion. You will have reason that the film is not as Stoker's story about all but the vision of this film is very interesting and good. Not all directors make perfects fims 100%; they have some better ones that others. Say me only director has Oscars in all movies...). NOBODY!!!!. I advise you to enjoy this movie and not to be so hard in your opinion, mate. ;)
@IronEagles16 I apologize if I seemed a little harsh. I just really love Jonathan and Mina from the novel and I don't think I'll ever enjoy this movie because I don't like how they made her fall in love with Dracula in this one. This is the only movie that had Mina in love with Dracula, and if people just saw this as a "re-interpretation" that would be fine. But for some reason lots of people seem to think this is how the story is in the novel and it isn't. But if you like it that's okay. :)
@44excalibur Sorry for my english and i thank you to understand me. I like this movie and Gary's interpretation and the new look of old and young count...and more things. :)
@IronEagles16 Oh, no problem, and you're welcome! I understood your English quite well! And I agree that Gary Oldman gave a great performance, but then he gives a great performance in almost everything he does. :)
@IronEagles16 As for Coppola, after his masterpiece 'Apocalypse Now' in 1979, he did mostly forgettable films that flopped: 'One From The Heart,' 'The Outsiders,' 'Rumble Fish,' 'The Cotton Club,' 'Gardens Of Stone,' 'Jack,' "The Rainmaker,' and 'The Godfather Part III,' which got an Oscar nomination despite mixed reviews and a critically panned performance by Sofia Coppola. 'Tucker: A Man And His Dream' and 'Peggy Sue Got Married' were okay, but Coppola never matched his success in the 1970's.
The budget of this movie was infinitely small compared to other blockbuster movies, and all of those special effects were engineered out of resourcefulness, something I understand as a filmmaker. As far as Stephenie Meyer knowing about vampires....TWILIGHT is the ONLY story/movie where vampires have EVER sparkled...something alot of people consider quite idiotic. Never diss a classic. Without Dracula there would never be a Twilight.
This is the same as that Twilight shit. Whats with people in the modern era, connecting vampires with love and profound emotion when in reality Bram Stoker who created the whole idea and notion of a 'wampyr' or at least made it known portrayed Dracula as a cold blooded monster. This movie seems like that Twilight sensual bullshit. Vampires should be percieved as evil and related to the horror genre.
Actually,Coppola was portraying the vampire in terms of it being a curse, which it is,and Vlad brought it down on himself as a result of his own anger and selfishness.
The Folkloric vampire is actually closely portrayed here, with slight modifications if any,for there were many types of vampire in legend, and not all were restricted to purely nocturnal existences.
Dracula himself,in the novel, could walk abroad by daylight.
He was weaker, and could not transform to wolf or bat.
What were the creators thinking casting Keanu Reeves.... I can just imagine during the shooting everyone slapping their foreheads during Reeves' dialogue.
The original vampire Bela Lugosi made so scared as a child that I refused to open my bedroom windows at night for an entire summer for fear that a vampire bat would fly in-- and it was a very hot summer! Frank Langella was incredibly handsome and sexy as Count Dracula, but, those adolescent-looking vampires seem anemic and lack the power and passion necessary for stirring my senses!
The best television vampie was Geraint Wynn Davies in the series Forever Knight. It was a great series!
@Xeresa18 Just in case you weren't aware, I thought that you would like to know that Hulu has 48 episodes of Forever Knight. I loved it too. In fact I named my cat LaCroix because of it (unfortunately he was not immortal). I saw this film for the first time in a double feature with "Interview With the Vampire" at our drive-in theatre which alas is no more. It really added to the atmosphere sitting in a dark car with the chilly night air. Incredible ! This version is so sensuous and gorgeous.
what a crappy vampire! and yea well this dracula makes twilight vampires look good but there is only good kick ass awsome vampire and tht is the one richard roxburgh plays Count Dracula in Van Helsing now thts a dracula/vampire
@Curiousboy231 Don't tell my big sis that. She is head over heals for Dracula. She even read 5 books( Dracula) to the point of falling apart. As for the Edward type, she thinks it is a load of... well I think you can fill in the blanks. I am o sick of hearing my oldest and younger sisters fighting over this issue. I am to the point of wanting to spicking both Edward and Dracula so they don't have anything to fight about. LOL!
@Cobrawolf lol wow...if u want to end the fighting tell them to watch van helsing and the dracula in itthen theyll all like him and ive read 10 dracula booksbut not to tht point lol
@Curiousboy231 Oh the olest has seen it. She loves that Dracula too. And The Van Helsing in that one. She is a torn about that as the younger sis is anout the team Edwar and Team Jacob thing. I like the good old blood and guts type myself.
@Cobrawolf oh like the old slasher movies like friday the 13th, scream 1-3 and Blade (you no wesly snipes) (those are my favorite but my favorite recent killing movies is saw 1-5 and i wanna see salt and predators
Love the film, must have watched it a million times and never get bored with it.Love remembered by the way is magic and the outfits are amazing especially mina's green outfit.Looks beautiful.
To be fair, the first Twilight was -alright-.. The second dragged on for ages and was, in my opinion, turning drasticly into a cheesey love story. I felt like shouting at the screen "Just turn her already!!!" on numerous occasions..
With Dracula on the other hand. The story is dark and passionate. Exactly how a vampire story should be! Who else agrees?
@FabulousBritBitch Tottaly.. Frankly throughout twilight I found myself thinking "... For f*ck sake she obviously -wants- to be a vampire to turn her already.. you're a vampire, boohoo, get over it.. and stop being such a whiney little bitch.. You're supposed to be a predator for christ sake!"
It douse't even compare to Twilight. This is a true vampire love story that is based on the legend of a caracter who realy existed ,,hundrets of years before you were born''Twilight is a shieaty movie.Vlad Tepes rules!
Que melodia mas exquisita,,,,que historia de amor mas hermosa, intensa...que toca la s fibras del corazon, hasta el mas insensible cae rendido a su encanto...que delicada ... bella historia.
Whenever I see and hear this video, I cry. Perfect music, perfect movie, perfect characters, perfect era, far away from the disenchantment of the shit years we are living...
falls for Dracula, how boring would the film have been if mina stayed loyal to Johnathan, sorry but Bram Stocker wrote Dracula for the time period he was in, Francis Ford just made a few changes and undated the myth to our modern taste. I think Dracula works better as a love story than some simple story where humans are trying to hunt down the beast.
@hidden3717 the love story for Bram Stoker's is what gives the film the intencity that it has. Drac when old yiou hate him and see him for the evil that he truly has become but when he reverts back to a younger appearance he is so seductive as he is meant to be the film centers around lost love and everyone can on some level relate to this, which is why this movie is a classic
Dracula.... creatura dannata e condannata a vivere nell'oscurità..eppure mi affacina da sempre...

In my mind vampires are beasts. The only way to attract their victim is through charm. I think it's logical.
I adore this movie where a gruesome, miserable beast shows such a weakness and sensitivity for his only love. It's touching.
On the other hand Twilight humiliates the complexity of those feelings.
...and Gary has so expressive eyes. :)

I was on set when Lucy was in the bed and covered with blood and know how that was done BEFORE hand. It's what you THINK you see, not what is!
Merrida100 1 year ago
@Merrida100

Beautiful video.
I loved the book, and am convinced that Stolker wrote it in journals and diaries because he had to take a breath through fear of the very thing he was writing.
The movie is a keeper, and as per usual (Oldeman) gave an outstanding performance as (Vlad)

But Dracula is a masterpiece.

I asked my teenage friends once what do you think of vampires?
"Edward is so cute", she replied.
Personally, Twilight defies the definition of Vampires.
Real Vampires are violent, they don't gently cuddle or sparkle.
Twilight promotes one of the worst vampire culture, which completely overturn its classic value.
I have nothing against the movie itself, the cast nor the books.
I am talking about propaganda and culture, it makes the younger generation forget about Bram Stroker and Dracula.
HeartLocker 1 year ago 6

For a woman who knows about vampires, check out Stephenie Meyer.
robinzhooded 1 year ago
@robinzhooded
SirReikoErmac 1 year ago 5
@SirReikoErmac Let me try to open your mind a little. Bram Stoker's Dracula is a classic, but this movie is most definitely NOT Stoker's story. There is NO love story between Mina and Dracula, and the attempt to make one in this film misses the point of Stoker's novel and Mina and Jonathan's relationship. No one has ever done a faithful version of Stoker's novel, and the truth is, Coppola hasn't made a good movie since 1979's Apocaplypse Now. Every one of his films since then have bombed.
44excalibur 1 year ago
@44excalibur
SirReikoErmac 1 year ago
@SirReikoErmac I'm sorry, but i'd have to disagree with you. All the depth that Mina had in the novel was stripped away from her in Coppola's movie. Stoker depicted Mina as his strong, superwoman of the modern era, a sharr contrast with Lucy's more giddy girlish character. The fact that Mina resists Dracula and helps the other destroy him rather than succumb to him as Lucy did is an example. The Mina in the movie has none of the strength of the Mina in the novel, and is reduced to a stereotype.
44excalibur 1 year ago 2
@SirReikoErmac And so what if the real Vlad Dracula had a wife? Bram Stoker did not intend to write a biopic of Vlad Tepes, nor did he write Mina as Vlad's reincarnated wife. Making Mina Dracula's love interest in this movie detracts from the Jonathan/Mina romace that Stoker wrote in the novel, which Stoker based on himself and his own wife. The novel is no more about Dracula than 'Jaws' is about the shark. The story is about Jonathan and Mina and told primarily from their perspectives.
44excalibur 1 year ago 2
@SirReikoErmac Jonathan and Mina's love for each other gives the novel its depth, and they are Stoker's main protagonists, yet Jonathan is always the most misunderstood and misrepresented character in movie adaptations. After Dracula's attack on Mina, Jonathan resolves that "if we find out that Mina must be a vampire in the end, then she shall not go into that unknown and terrible land alone." Jonathan would willingly become a vampire himself rather than risk him and Mina losing each other.
44excalibur 1 year ago
@SirReikoErmac As for Mina, she begs Van Helsing to kill her if she becomes a vampire rather than risk her turning on Jonathan. This total devotion to each other is much more mature and deep than the 'Twilight'-style vampire romance this movie pursues. Their victory over the forces of evil shows that difficulties and challenges can be overcome by everybody. They are just as normal as we are. Jonathan and Mina's love story is very comforting, since they face challenges, suffer, and yet survive.
44excalibur 1 year ago
@44excalibur It seems very good that you read three times Stoker's story but make a mistake saying that Coppola hasn't made a good movie since 1979. You watch movies as Bela Lugosi's Dracula, Dracula 1979, Crhisopher Lee's Dracula and will understand as others directors made the same as Coppola: the center was Mina and Dracula's love. The book will be different but coppola's version is very very good. You maybe prefer Van Helsing, Blade, Twilight, etc.). This film (Coppola) is good. You know it.
IronEagles16 11 months ago
@IronEagles16 I will say this once more: "THERE IS NO MINA AND DRACULA'S LOVE!" Nowhere in Bram Stoker's novel is there any romance between Mina and any other character except for Jonathan Harker. The Dracula in the Bela Lugosi film only intened to make Mina another bride like the ones he had back home and she was mostly an unwilling victim, as was the Mina in the Hammer version. The 1979 version had Lucy as the female lead, not Mina. And I HATE 'Van Helsing,' 'Blade,' and 'Twilight.'
44excalibur 11 months ago
@IronEagles16 And I'm sorry, but this film is too flawed to be good. Overacting by Hopkins, lousy acting by Reeves and Ryder, overdone, pretentious directing by Coppola, and a complete lack of respect for the source material, not only in manufacturing a Mina/Dracula romance that kills the spirit of the novel, but in forgetting to be a horror movie, since it's just not terrifying in the least. Only Gary Oldman did a good job, but he's in the wrong movie. He's doing 'Braveheart' with Vlad Tepes.
44excalibur 11 months ago
@44excalibur I think that you are hard with your opinion. You will have reason that the film is not as Stoker's story about all but the vision of this film is very interesting and good. Not all directors make perfects fims 100%; they have some better ones that others. Say me only director has Oscars in all movies...). NOBODY!!!!. I advise you to enjoy this movie and not to be so hard in your opinion, mate. ;)
IronEagles16 11 months ago
@IronEagles16 I apologize if I seemed a little harsh. I just really love Jonathan and Mina from the novel and I don't think I'll ever enjoy this movie because I don't like how they made her fall in love with Dracula in this one. This is the only movie that had Mina in love with Dracula, and if people just saw this as a "re-interpretation" that would be fine. But for some reason lots of people seem to think this is how the story is in the novel and it isn't. But if you like it that's okay. :)
44excalibur 11 months ago
@44excalibur Sorry for my english and i thank you to understand me. I like this movie and Gary's interpretation and the new look of old and young count...and more things. :)
IronEagles16 11 months ago
@IronEagles16 Oh, no problem, and you're welcome! I understood your English quite well! And I agree that Gary Oldman gave a great performance, but then he gives a great performance in almost everything he does. :)
44excalibur 11 months ago
44excalibur 11 months ago
@robinzhooded
To continue my first post.....

This is how should be make a movie about vamps, not like that twilight shit!!
Belcebu022 1 year ago
This is the same as that Twilight shit. Whats with people in the modern era, connecting vampires with love and profound emotion when in reality Bram Stoker who created the whole idea and notion of a 'wampyr' or at least made it known portrayed Dracula as a cold blooded monster. This movie seems like that Twilight sensual bullshit. Vampires should be percieved as evil and related to the horror genre.
sarahrulez4lyf 1 year ago
@sarahrulez4lyf

@sarahrulez4lyf
I see,
I'm so sorry if i came across as pedantic, but whoever wrote that remark shares my sentiments about Twilight.
i think this version of the book and the old Hammer films had it right.
Vampires ARE evil, but not all of them are alike.
I think some retain a certain degree of humanity, but most do not.
therein lies the struggle, not just between Good and Evil, but between the soul and the baser self.

Who else agrees?

falls for Dracula, how boring would the film have been if mina stayed loyal to Johnathan, sorry but Bram Stocker wrote Dracula for the time period he was in, Francis Ford just made a few changes and undated the myth to our modern taste. I think Dracula works better as a love story than some simple story where humans are trying to hunt down the beast.
hidden3717 1 year ago
@hidden3717 the love story for Bram Stoker's is what gives the film the intencity that it has. Drac when old yiou hate him and see him for the evil that he truly has become but when he reverts back to a younger appearance he is so seductive as he is meant to be the film centers around lost love and everyone can on some level relate to this, which is why this movie is a classic
