u went with chinese ladies who doesnt know how to really appreciate the indian food i noticed they refused some tasty gravy that would make the meal a lot and totally different...u shold brought an indian ladies instead..that will really show how to appreciate the food for the reputation of the one of the BEST INDIAN restaurant in singapore...
Mutu is ok, some their dishes are better than apollo and vice versa. I ate at Mutu once and one of the staff cheated on me so i dont think i want to return to that place. but all in all i prefer apollo cos the atmosphere and the smell of the place is better.
oh what i dont like about apollo is that they only give you like 4 or 5 pieces of papadem crackers(i dont know the spelling) and it always run out. i hope they would just give us like a basket of them.
@mintico Maybe Banana Leaf needs to revamp their premises and menu. My brother-in-law in the video (shot in 2005) who lives in Singapore prefers Mutu's. It is more contemporary, however, he says the taste is more authentic. What's your take on it?
