Man if the cops see you riding like that, overtaking on the inside and weaving through traffic even though the traffic is moving at a steady pace, they will pull you over and give you points on your licence mate. The way he is riding here is actually the safer way to ride. In other country's that have very heavy motorcycle and scooter traffic, like Vietnam and Taiwan, lane filtering and riding faster then traffic is not only the norm, but the safest way to ride. The problem with riding like a car is that you are not a car. Ride it like a bike and stay safe.

@xchris90x I second that, defensive riding style is dangerous for biker. He was not speeding so it was safe, even safer as if he would flow with traffic and be overseen. And no, green reflective west will not help you to be noticed, you just look like a fool in it. If you are afraid that you can be easy injured in bike crash, then dont ride one, or go to closed circuit.

Its called lane filtering and we do it ALL the time here in the UK - however even though its not illegal it IS a 'grey area' ... so if you hit someone as they pull in to a side road without looking - itll be a 50/50 blame situation. However high speed filtring like this is both dangerous and highly illegal in any language. Hope this helps - and no kids - its not big or clever to creep up on unsuspecting 'tin box' drivers and harrass them like this - now - cheers y'all!

Of all the bike riding videos I've ever watched yours has the best sound quality for the engine. HOW do you do it ? What is the camera set up and microphone location ?

i ride a 2008 FXSTC with Rush mufflers and I would love to make a video like yours but the wind noise just ruins it. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Camera: I use Sony Mini DV and external mic.

Mount on handelbar: Googel and find RAM CAMERA MOUNTS

Mic:

You cant just use an small condensator-mic from a PC-headset. It must be a dynamic mic because of the sound pressure. A ordinary cheap song-mic will do (size as a banana..)

No Wind noise:

I use a stomach belt. I put the mic inside, zips it and turn it around so its behind me, on my back. The cord goes forward to the camera .

It's the so called "safe" riders that get into more accidents by refusing to split lanes. Studies prove that lane splitting is safer than staying in one lane for bikers. Unfortunately it is only legal in California in the US.

This is the way to ride a bike. I use in the same style I have a kawasaki mean streak . Dont wory whit the weakend drivers , hi just buy a bike for show.

Got pulled over by 4 police cruisers. Narrowly escaped going to jail. The cops got a kick out it....it was several people in cages that called me in on cell phones that got me in trouble. I'm in the mid west.

His style is a little gutsy, and passing on the right may be illegal where he's at,(Some countries it's OK) but it's the law in most countries to give right of way to motorcycles. (Open a door on one, and you might as well have run over a child in a cross walk.)Did you notice, most of them moved over to give him room?

Well , you are totally right , where i do live , this driving (coupled with the bad driving of others) will end in a monster crash in 20 seconds . This video is quite amazing , cause yeah the brike driver is ''rushed'' but all the other vehicules stay cool too . That was awesome man , but i just cant say , yall go drive like this cause its COOL , i had friends killing themselves . A noob just cant drive like this for that long without dying , so i kinda respect him finally .

I agree. I've been riding for years here in California. The only time I "Whiteline it" is when the traffic is stopped. (That way, if some asshole opens his door on me, I can pick myself up and shoot him in the head. LOL)

Watching this Vid was kind of exhilarating, but I was fearing for him at the same time. LOL

America is the only country in the world that I'm aware of that makes it illegal to Lane Share/Split/Whiteline, with the exception of California that is.

most important - the MC-education here in Norway is far higher in both theory and practice than you have in US. it is a big difference to drive in our 12.000 people city
