Great tutorial. Been using the Bow Tie Spiral Technique with Titan THP's for about 18 months with no complaints...like the look of the Nichols tread w/ Bow Tie...a good combination, especially as I'm a light lifter and have plenty of wrap to go around. Saved to fav's...thanks again.
@derkypoo42 Love the video man, just got my own knee wraps! realy gonna try some of the techniques you have shown in the video. Bin doing 540kg legpresses and 200-220kg squats, with out any support for the knees, so I'm realy exited to hit the Gym and try out the knee wraps. keep the videos coming.
@uscrunch Yes. You have your wraps on so tight that they are just about cutting the blood from flowing to your feet. Knees wraps work great and protect that patella tendon. But after my set I can't wait to take them off. They should be very tight.
I dont know anything about knee wrapping, but my doctor recommended me to use them... my question is doesn't it stop proper blood circulation? And do you have to wrap your knees only before the specific excercises during your workout? Or can you wear them during the entire workout?
I'm about to start training for professional wrestling and all the guys are telling me that the most important piece of gear is the knee pads. I have kind of bad knees so would I get any benefit of using this underneath a knee pad, or is just knee pads sufficient?
@xXxoopsxXx Just make sure to do weighted lunges and strengthen that knee and wear more than adaquete protection for that knee. And if you wear knee straps dont wear straps too much cause it weakens your knees.
i just started doing power front squats getting a little bounce off the bottom, and the next day im having trouble bending my right knee. can anyone off me some help here on what i did and what i should do about it? im obviously thinking straps. thanks!
To derkypoo42 - thanks for uploading this video it's really helpfull.I have just bought my first knee wraps (as i am now squatting weight that needs them) & although the basic concept of "wrap them tightly round your knees" is simple- it's good to see the correct way to wrap them to get the best results. THANK YOU.

Great video. Thanks for the products btw guys. I'm an 18year old freshmen (1st semester) in college. Trying for RB. These knee wraps give me about a 40lb lift then going raw and with no wraps. Squating around 405. But I only weigh 150 lol so Ill take it. Gotta try these new/different styles. Going to be using the, Sub-X tried the wrap in my room, very good support, going to use it in two days for my max lift. I'll let you'all know if it works well!
Im not an expert, but I know people ith arthritis, they just do low weight squats, and squat a little high. like 135 quarter squats. idk much about tendonitis, but I would say lightly rap your knees, and do light weight squats. see if that helps your knees.
ive been powerlifting for about 5-6years now and feel totally dumb that i didnt know of most of these tecniques, i cant wait till my next workout to try them.thanks for posting such a useful video

dont wrap tightly on joint itself,it will cause friction of patella with joint.wrap tightly below and up the joint.

Should I leave my wraps unrolled or rolled up tight when they're not being used?
lbaumy 2 months ago
@lbaumy unless you want them to stretch out to break in if they're too stiff i would just fold them up for storage.
derkypoo42 2 months ago
@derkypoo42 Okay. I just got mine like a week ago and they're still really stiff. Thanks for the advice.
lbaumy 2 months ago
@lbaumy right on. if it's anything less than the convict wraps i would say savor the stiffness for as long as you can.

I believe that that was a 3meter or 3.5 meter because I have a 3, and I couldn't finish the sub-x quite as well as he did.

nope 2.5m
derkypoo42 1 year ago
@Chuteboxemma You must not be pulling it tight enough if he can do it with a 2.5 and you can't :)

@MagicalHobo1001 use sleeves instead of wraps. this will warm up your tendons and ligaments.
