Ooo, dead funny this, it's full of mondegreens (phonetic imitation of one language into another) with hilarious results, e.g. show a sign = (Dutch): zonnenschijn. But zonnenschijn = sunshine! So the subtitled English makes no sense whatsoever, but I've got in my tears with laughter.
@Pownedinyourface123 Dude learn your geography. Holland is a name used for the western part of the netherlands however sometimes it is used to refer to the whole area of the netherlands which is incorrect.
Technically both terms are correct: Holland is used to refer to the Western regions of The Netherlands (There's two providences-North and South). It also has an accepted use for referring to The Netherlands as a whole.
@Gregsynthbootlegs Yes but technically, Holland is the name of the western part of the netherlands but that name as been adopted to refer to the netherlands as a whole because the country's major cities are located in that western part, therefore, people refer to the country as a Holland.
@Gregsynthbootlegs Well kind of. But a better analogy would be calling all of The United Kingdom Great Britain because most major cities of The United Kingdom are on the Island of Great Britain.
@Gregsynthbootlegs Well I'm guessing that the cities Elton played in were in the Western part of the Netherlands, so it's appropriate to call it Holland.
@Gregsynthbootlegs dude, I live in the Netherlands and specifically in Noord-Holland, one of the western ''providences(?)'' you refer to, don't try to start a discussion, the Netherlands and Holland is the same, just as the United Kingdom and Great-Brittain are.(please don't correct me if I'm wrong about the UK I dont care). But my point is... Just accept the fact that the Netherlands an Holland are the same, if I don't know the difference as a Dutchman why should you?
I know Holland and the Netherlands are the same. Another one of your fellow countryman (user "Caektiems" he commented on this video as well), said that "Holland" just referred to the Western side of the country.
My point still stands: Either way is correct (Calling the country "Holland," or just referring to the western providences).
@Gregsynthbootlegs Yes but calling the whole country Holland is technically incorrect. However, overtime Holland has developed as a synonym for The Netherlands.
@metalgrunger06 Actually, Holland is the western part of the Netherlands. The people are Dutch. People from Belgium can either be called Dutch or Belgian, depends if you're nationalistic or not. Also, people from any country can be fat. The fact one person is fat doesn't mean it's going to be a stereotype.

The funny thing is that Queenliveca calls the country "The Netherlands." While Eltonography calls it "Holland." I guess either way is fine!
