Everyone that's ever played with Chris Chambliss says he is the nicest person you'll ever meet. Nettles, Hunter, Piniella, Lyle. He is one of the nicest, most down to earth people to ever wear a Yankee uniform. The two classiest people from the Champion Yankee's teams of the 70's were Roy White and Chris Chambliss. They were a manager's dream. They never complained, did their job and stayed on an even keel whether the team was winning or losing. They were true professionals
