  • I've been in love with planes for so long I don't even remember the exact moment it happened. So in theory I assume its because i was always around airports since my Dad did a lot of traveling. Or maybe God just designed me this way =D

  • i have a question, i am 16 yrs old and im from toronto canada, i am looking at going to college for 4 yrs and get a bachelor's in aviation technology, that will cost me about 50-60k for tuition, i can afford that but i just want to know the salary of the begining position, such as flight instructor and so forth until i make it to the large arlines. thanks for your time

  • Would I be able to use a credit card?

  • @HandsomeDee92 of course. Most flight schools accept most major credit/debit cards

  • im in upsatet ny and just took my 3rd lesson. my instructor says that most of his students spend $5500 to $6500 to get the license. its $110hr. for a 172 and $30hr. for his instruction. $180 for a book package that is optional but highly recommended. his average is about 50 hrs to get a student their license. the video is right about it being up to the student. if you slack off with learning all the boreing stuff it may take longer. flying id fun, learing all the regulations and stuff isnt.

  • when i was 5 i remember like it was yesterday i was coming out of an AA flight think it was boeing 737-800 and the flight attendant asked me if i wanted to enter and see the cabin, i said yes i entered and saw like thousands of buttons,,, it was so cool and from that day i dicided to be a commercia pilotl. My parents and my family kept on saying you will be better as an engineer but here i am 15 years old with my same dream.... THUMPS UP!!!!

  • @BiggestTwoNoobs no to what

  • @kingmarco301 My obsession started EXACTLY the same way, and now I am flying c-130's Don't let anyone put your dreams down!

  • @kingmarco301

Hah, similar thing happened to me. I was 7-years-old, flying for the very first time and flight attendant asked me if I wanted to see the cockpit and see how the pilots actually fly the airplane. It happened during the flight and my god was I amazed by it. And this was it, my life goal was set that day. I'm currently attending a flight school to become a commercial pilot :)

  • @Martin372 i havent entered one yet because i live in Honduras, but im migrating to Florida in a few months, if its Gods will. ill start there

  • @aaronjitsg Me too! When I was four years old I decided that I want to be a pilot and fly the SR-71...

  • @aaronjitsg same i'm 13 i want to be a pilot to (im from Australia) and ive done the exact same thing that you have done. I might be going on a TIF soon.

P.S My grandfather was a pilot and he flew the DC-3, 707, 747 and a lot more.

  • is there any where I could get the license from in the middle east?

  • oh and to achieve UK Intl PPL it is 45 hours flight time 20 of which have to be solo.

  • Thanks! I'm in the UK and a one hour lesson with an instructor is £190 with free books, nav equipment, check list, logbook and charts. I'm 14 so now able to have lessons and log lessons. I have already aquired 2 hours flight time in an aerobatic aircraft (Grob 115E Tutor). The lesson is conducted in a Piper PA28 Cherokee. Good or not?
