Pete and "the Count" were two of the nicest guys in L.A. and are always appreciated.

In learning more about Pete Candoli, one reviewer mentioned how Pete, outstanding as he was, was always willing to stay in the background while other players took the limelight, especially for his beloved brother, Conte.

Such humility shows a man of exemplary character, and helps me admire him all the more.

Some of Pete's most recognizable work is in Mancini's Peter Gunn soundtracks. Jazz trumpet makes SUPER suspense-building chase scene music.
