Sun Tzu says the best way to win a war is winning without fighting. The guy should have ran instead of fighting it out because those 2 men might be carrying guns instead of knives.

Yeah, even if you are a master of Wing Chun, Muay Thai, Krav Mega, Judo, BJJ, Western Boxing, Karate, TKD, and served 10 years in the special forces, if you don't have a gun and two bad guys have knives...you give them your stuff and bounce. No sense in bleeding to death in front of your own apartment.

@PunjabiGGsingh yes it was a demonstration. If you look carefully you will see body armour under my friends hoody and the knife is not sharp.

i dont think its true, what u said.
a MASTER (it dont rly need to be a master) use his reflexes, so he gain full-speed-punches and blitz-defense.
one or two knifers arent such a big deal.
btw the sixth form of wing chun (Bot Jom Doh) is about fighting people with a knife/dagger or just use a knife/dagger yourself.

@Nakama4eva knives are always a big deal unfortunatly, however good you are you die if you get it wrong, punches hurt but prob wont kill you.
Bart Cham Dao teaches the Wing Chun student to use "knives"/short swords to fight other weapons.

most people who carry a weapon can't use it effectively, but yes you should be trained for the small percentage that can.
