will someone tell us technically challenged where do we put these links if we want to activate them. i am trying to send an email and attach the hyperlink so they can go to my web site. also, can i do the reverse? can i have a hyperlink on my website

Please help me with putting the hyperlink into my status on google. Whenever i put it in it just shows what i put in, not the "click here". And when i use the easy hyperlink think on microsoft word, and i copy it and paste it to my status, it doesnt provide a link.
