My favourite Eurovision song/performance of all time. I had an audio cassette recording of this from BBC Radio 2 but it got lost only a couple of years ago. Thanks for posting this video. It's brilliant. I never thought I'd see this again.
Yes, indeed, 7th place - while totally respectable - sounds too low for such a song. On the other hand, it was a very strong year as I've said, and I personally have no beef against any of the top-6 (well, except maybe Yugoslavia, which however is still a catchy and uplifting number).
That was indeed one of the highlights of that year in my opinion. A magical song which Bernadette absolutely nails with her almost operatic vocal. Great harmony and orhcestration. A fab song indeed.
