Actually, he's not supposed to sound like Bill Murray, at all. That's Lorenzo Music, who voiced Garfield on the first TV special in 1982, and continued to do his voice, all the way up to 1994. The reason Bill Murray did his voice in the movie, is because Music passed away in 2001 :-(

There a few good newer cartoons, but not many. Older ones are better, lemme tell ya. But would you believe that I play video games for one hour a day on average, and my second best friend is my mom? Who I talk to regularly 'cause she rocks?

In my opinion, I'm kind of cool...but anyway, most current cartoons are awful. Especially Cartoon Network. It's hard to find a really good one these days...
