And yes, you should all be role models, too many lies out there, you wouldn't want to portray a lie. People that haven't transitioned, look at all the possibilities and outcomes of transition. They should have someone to look up to.

If expression obviously of male or female people should address therefor correctly. Its one thing when male in female miniskirt and totally different when person looks as he/she looks. its incompetency and disrespect as I see it. but do you realy bothered if some one still calls you she or he? However if you seeking world to recognize you/ call you in specific way - its mission imposable - people have free will and they talk as the wish - you cant force them to change themselves.

i can appreciate that the mother is trying to be open-minded, but why can't the damned mother just use "he"!!!? i cringe everytime she says "she" or "her", (and i'm not even transgendered) and the mother is still so obviously in denial. doh!!

WQW Did they really have choose someone who is asthestically one of the worst choices for transgender spokesmodel. This "transgender" is making very little to no effort to be female I'm watching "her" with the voice, mannerisms, the look of a man. This is a horrible spokesperson in my opinion of a transgender.

@sucacinj1 even what "she" is talking about in her interview is typical to the way a man would respond and act. Now the young man after "her" I feel for her and I hope her mother can be more supportive to refer to him as the boy that he is.
