Parts even have oil, and it has the most fertile arable land of any continent, especially in the West and South. Iceland, by contrast, has virtually no arable land, no mineral wealth, no oil, and some of the most extreme weather on earth...but also one the highest standards of living and literacy.

I understand why people do this, but even though we call races by the skin colors, what we are referring to are giant cultural clusters. "White people" is simply a name given to a broad somewhat endogamous culture which has excelled over the last 2000 years. It's only "bankrupt" if you mentally reduce the broad range from India to Sweden down to "white people" , and if you have run out of excuses for why these cultures have been so successful and others haven't.
