Well I also have a TBI,and I was in a dirt bike accident. On july 23, 2006 please don't believe that your son won't be back to normal. I'm still inprooving. It can take year's, I'll tell all about in the book I'm writeing!
The only good that can come of this tragic incident is maybe more people can become aware of TBI's and what the injury does to victims and their families. My son was hurt in an auto accident in Feb 2009. He's still recovering and will be for a long time. So many people say he looks fine and it's been long enough he should be back to normal. Thing is he'll never be "normal" again.
