I don't understand all the comparison's to Metal gear Solid. i see no similarity's. MGS has a strange story that makes no sense yet is strangely awesome at the same time, combined with killer stealth/ stealth-action gameplay. Deus Ex would be more like MGS gameplay fused with Mass Effect conversation and communication abilities and a universe as in depth as Halo all wrapped up in an amazing story rivaling those of most award winning novelists. At least that's what DX1 felt like.

@commandershepard13 I can see similarities in the stealth elements and somewhat in the art style.

I say the stealth looks similar for two reasons. 1) It's line of sight and sound based, exactly like MGS. MGS never really had any focus on light/shadow play like Splinter Cell did, I think this game is going to be the same way. And 2) The Predator-esque stealth suit thingy lol. I know that's not something specific to MGS, but when I see things like that I always think of the cyborg ninja.

I heard the A.I is kind of stupid in this game... they "moonwalk" and seem very dumb.. this is a major problem.. no matter how good looking the game is etc.. if the AI sucks, u just feel stupid playing it

Damn! I hope that's not true or if it is, they fix it by the time the game comes out. That's why I've alwasys said in vids or talking with my friends, that graphics should come second and game developers should first make sure the gameplay is solid and the game is fun to play first.

Then if they can get the graphics to be shiny on top of that... awesome. But I'd rather play a game with poor graphics and great gameplay, AI, ect., than a great looking game that sucks.

@ThePhilosophersAbyss i saw it in a danish podcast.. the guy was trying it out on the ps3.. he said the AI acted stupid sometimes, and once in awhile they would "moonwalk" whatever that means.. hopefully that aint the case for the pc version when the game is done

Sorry it took so long to reply. I just saw the Q&A at PAX East and they said that the AI software is still new and they will have it fixed by release.

And "moonwalking," is when the NPC's walk backwards but the animations shows them walking forwards. The term came from a Michael Jackson dance move from the 80's:)

That sucks. But lucky for me, I am getting a new PC soon. So I plan on getting the PC version. But I still think that a game company should try to give equal quality to both PC and consoles. I know PC's, if you have the hardware, tends to look better, but ports tend to suck.
