@asderso Hey so i'm not sue if you figured it out already or not but I also had the same problem. When the area is selected make sure that the song is not playing/paused because it will not work. The song has to be stopped. Once it is stopped the edit options should work
google audacity... go to the official audacity page, in Audacity downloads section, scroll down the page and it should have a link for LAMEMP3.
If its not working now then try again later or another day. I never had trouble with the official audacity page but servers sometimes have issues u never know. I use the Beta with skins... i love it :)
Hey, I have a quick question, i have a audiovox 6600 and it takes wav files and for some reasons its a very low ringtone, i used audacity to turn up the volume its just the bass is to much! can help me bringing the bass down? Thanks
WAV doesn't really provides the clarity you'll find in mp3 format. Still, when you create ringtones, normalize the volume and everything. Export your file as an mp3 (assuming you already have the lame encoder, it's free btw, just google it). And then open it back in and save it as a high quality wav file. That should help at least a bit.

After I select the area to be trimmed, all features from edit like Delete, etc. look BLANK, cannot be used. Please help !
