Our Soul's Returns To ALLAH Each Night

I know that the Qur'an says that, but how do we explain night-time dreams?

@NaturalRepublic Dreams are journey that soul takes every night. If the person is pious & slept in the state of ablution. His soul leaves the body & goes to a certain appointed place, where it first bows down in prostration to Allah. Memory of that is erased afterwards. After that the soul travels and actually meet other souls. On the way back to the body the devil meet him & puts dough and confuses him. So at times, when you wake up. you are all confused about what you really saw.

@NaturalRepublic If you see the prophet in your dreams that means you actually met him. The prophet said the devil cannot imitate me. Remember this is a completely different dimension, our thinking is very limited. Souls are not bound by man laws of gravity, speed or moving through time. Sleep paralyses where you wake up you cant move, or talk u can only blink that because the soul has not entered the body fully and you woke up a few seconds before you should have. ppl blame jinns not true.

The brain, heart and vital organs remain in working order when one sleeps, so what death do Muslims speak of during sleep?

@laithsu He is talking about Rooh (soul) or (sprit ) thats what drives the body. A person in a coma all his body organs are functioning normally but he is not waking up or responding to anything. why?

Another example imagine a car, its engine is running lights are on radio is blazing do you think its gonna drive it self on the streets, u need a driver. so the driver is the soul of that car, same thing with the body. i hope you understand now.

@digitalwolves What evidence is there for the existence of a soul or spirit? There is a scientific/medical reason why someone becomes comatose, and there are methods to wake someone up from a coma. He is certainly not dead.

As to the analogy, I would argue that the driver is the brain in the body, because nobody knows what a soul is or what it does.

@laithsu you are entitled to your opinion but the truth is, the one that created you is telling you this. science doesn't have answer to everything, our knowledge is limited. God told us about the big bang theory 1400 years ago. when did science find that out 50 years ago or so. If you had told that to anyone 200 years ago he would have thought the person is mad. There are countless examples like this. if you wanna read about it i can give you a link to them :-)

@digitalwolves The difference between science and religion is that science strives to solve questions, while religion claims to have the solution regardless of it being true or not. I have read many such claims, and they are all bogus. The Quran doesn't speak about the big bang theory because the Earth and the heavens (whatever that means) weren't cloven asunder because at the time of the big bang there was no Earth in the first place.

@laithsu The english of the Quran is pure poetry u have to understand each word to understand the sentance and so on u will understand the meaning behind each point or phrase in the Quran. In this case the word 'earth' is not referring to, well the earth; that's just common sense our religion isn't that weak that u could point out such words and claim for it to be wrong coz there isn't a single mistake in the Quran.

Okay putting the big bang topic aside which i can clearly see u don't agree too.

@laithsu Well if u study the phrase in Arabic the poetry version of it in English will be that, but we all do know poetry has meaning to it. In the Arabic sentence the ‘muneer’ means borrowed or reflected and ‘an’ is light so ‘muneeran’ reflected light and I will say no more.
