you think he juices? i think you're wrong about that..he gets drug tested atleast 3 times a week, thats over 60 times per season, its part of his reinstatement into baseball..and he once said that he would never even consider using steroids because he wouldn't want to do something that is considered cheating in a game that he loves. and he looked like he was about the same size then than he is now..he's country strong..i bet he's alot physically stronger than alot of mlb players who are on juice
Actually dude, you are very very wrong...I'm sure he thinks about it. He is unable to be on the streets with more than twenty dollars in his pocket or he will be tempted to buy drugs...SI story
Watch for Jeff Allison, same story. Every year in babe ruth all stars my team would lose to him not the team him. His coach would make sure he was always pitchin against us cause we dropped bombs 1-9. He's fron peabody im from taunton. We were no scrubs no pros but we could of easily beat them if it wasnt for him. Throwin in the high 90 when your 15. Shit was real when your 15 seein a 95 mph pitch. Beat us every year ended up goin 16th to the Marlins and got hooked on OCs.
its a damn shame. he could have had it all. except, one injury, and boom. its all gone. if you dont find his story amazing, touching, then u have no heart at all
but imagine the career he would/could have had w/o the drugs. no doubt hes still a great player, but all im saying is its just sad thinking about the career he could have had.
You know, the most amazing thing about this video is the sound of his bat -just listen to that sound when he hits that home run - that is how baseball was meant to sound - Absolutely amazing.
Thanks Josh for never giving up. Unlike many other MLB ballplayers who suffered from inner demons (i.e. Gooden, Strawberry, Rose) he rebounded in such as way that was convincing, sincere, undeniable, and inspiring. I'm proud to wear your jersey around LA no matter what anyone says. Stay determined to do the right thing as a role model and stay around positive people who genuinely care about you Josh Hamilton the person and not just the ballplayer.
yes, hanley is a great player, i'm from fla and i get to see quite a bit of him, he and josh are the 2 most exciting players to watch imo..but no one can do what josh can, i saw his 5-5, 5 rbi 2 hr game recently, he hits a 450 foot home run one at bat, and beats out an infield single the next..on a routine grounder! then, he hits a standup triple. what is scary is that he will get even better.
Yeah, Ramirez is the greatest talent in Baseball. Hamilton is close second but Hanley in incredible. I used to go watch him in minors when he was in the Sox organization and he's unbelievable. I still think that trading him was the right thing to do though. The best position player is always trumped by the best pitcher.
Agreed i've seen him play around 15 times this season. No one comes close, he plays great defense, can throw the ball from deep outfield to the plate on 1 hop, and he can hit the ball out of the ballpark. Hes hit 2 this week alone over 450. One was went around 480 the other was 451.
Damn my brother played for Johnson City Cardinals in like 01 and 02 i believe!!

and that was him when he was 18, he wasn't even a full-grown man yet.

You are probably right and by no means am I saying Hamilton is juicing but if he is taking HGH he could get tested 10 times a day and not fail one.

Thanks for posting. He was an incredible talent and it's great to see him realizing it again.
I wonder if that was Carl Crawford who was on base on the homerun. I remember the two of them moving up the ladder together.
GasHouseGangScout 3 years ago
That was Carl Crawford (#24) on the bases when he hit the homerun.

most talented baseball player alive..no one in the world can do what he can on a ball field.

Only player who is even on the same atmosphere as Hamilton talent wise right now is Hanley Ramirez.
