  • Demcad buddy you hit it on the head with the first sentence. These people do exactly what the people in washington tell them to do. When will people WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!

The government doesn't give a shit about you. Its not for you. Why go and be a tool for the elite and they dont give a shit if you get hurt or not because they have more brainwashed patriotic idiots volunteering to get blown up for a false ideal.

    DO NOT JOIN THE MILITARY......................EVER!

  • Be sure to watch the video the whole way thru demcad. It shows the President telling facts of the Weapons of Mass destructions that had been found, and destroyed. And take special notice when the President says: "UNSCOM Weapons Inspectors believe that Iraq has greatly understated it's production."

That means that the Weapons could not be accounted for because Saddam had already used them on us Gulf War Vets. It means facts he used them up until 1995, and I believe up to the 2003 invasion...

  • Here is the facts for you Demcad, you can hear them straight from the Presidents mouth: In 1995 Saddam Hussein reached his highest arsenal ever of armament of 100,000+ gallons of Weapons of mass destructions! (FACTS: That's why Desert Storm never Officially ended until 1995!) Here it straight from the Presidents mouth here demcad!

    watch?v=6bFdwxSHXFE

  • @155Millimeter

Key word "President's". In other words you trust a dirty lying politician that doesn't give a fuck about you or your rights. Dumb ass

  • Hey Demcad. Saddam Had Weapons of Mass destruction and he was using them!

Here is some facts for you DEMCAD, These are straight from the most "ANTI-WAR LIBERAL PRESIDENT IN U.S. HISTORY!" This President would never try to go to War with any country! But He hit Iraq HARD several times throughout the 90's, and Saddam was using chemicals back in retaliation! So I don't know where you get this stuff that there was no Weapons of Mass Destructions. Fret no more. I am here to convince you DEMCAD...

  • I am a nondeployed veteran with gulf war illness (NDGWI.blog.com).

  • @NonDeployedGWI

A brother the fact that you have the GWI and were never deployed shows for more FACTS! That GWI was caused by Biological/ Chemical Warfare attached to the vehicles, and equipment that was brought back.

Before we could get on plane we were aproached in the Desert over there by UNSCOM Weapons Inspectors, and U.S. Customs, & DEMANDED under FORCE scrub everything down, and told if we carry sand, or anything home, we get court marshal. IT WAS A "HIDDEN OR CLOAKED" MOPP DECON!

  • @NonDeployedGWI

    FACTS #2

The fact that you have Non-deployable Gulf War Illness tells me that you served between dates of 1990 to 1992.

Tell me if I am I right?

All these facts fit together to prove all I have been saying. Fact #3 Operation Desert Storm did not OFFICIALLY end until the end of 1995 because of these chemicals. Saddam was armed his highest in 1995! There are Gulf War Veterans who have Gulf War Syndrome I know for a fact well past 91 and up until 2003 invasion.

  • @NonDeployedGWI

Let me know. I'm betting you served stateside between 90-92.

Those Vehicles and equippment were "FRESH BACK!" And when you come in contact with those vehicles you get the GWS.

  • @DearZombieKing I never thought I'd see reservists so badly used. I never thought I'd see soldiers called back to war repeatedly, 3 and 4 times. During the VIetnam War, if called, troops had to serve one year, but after that, would not go back unless they volunteered. I thought Vietnam was bad, but this business in Iraq and Afghanistan seems far worse. I guess they figure America is used up, so they'll basically abandon everybody.

  • @demcad john ** I mean.. they're burying oil and covering it up seems pretty serious . Sry I'm on the phone doing this

  • @demcad I need your honest opinion since this is a Michigan related problem.. Scot bolenbaugh look him up . U guys got a oil spill going on ?

  • DEM this the first ive ever seen you angry..i feel you brother

  • they treated bin laden's "alledged"dead body better than our own troops?...sickening

  • Agree with you about poor treatment of soldiers & remains. Also agree with the comments about Washinton politicians "playing chess" with the soldiers. Baby Bush was a loser, but you're wrong about the WMDs. Our soldiers found hundreds of stockpiles of Mustard gas & Sarin nerve agents, which you should know Saddam used on his own population & the Kurdish. There's a partially declassified report just google "Iraq_WMD_Declassified.pdf" Too much emphasis was placed on WMD only meaning nuclear.

  • I am a vet and could go on and on about the in your face disrespect that I have personally been a victim of. Even here in my home country I am spit on and disrespected because I chose to stand up and protect my country. Now a broken disabled vet I fade from memory as if what I did never mattered in the first place.

  • this is a great vid , , and its nice to see outrage of these matters , the thing that gets me is , that when all this is going on , the powers that be ,,, are home sleeping in there nice safe beds that the men and women fough for , God blees them all

  • My husband has Gulf War Illness and we have been battling with the VA over this. He was forced...yes forced..to take Anthrax vaccines...all 9 of them. The US bought pesticides from overseas areas and have no idea what was in it. Most soldiers are guinea pigs and most US citizens don't know it.

  • @KCMadquilter I remember hearing some young officer refused to take his shots, and was drummed out of the service. He may actually be better off that way than if he'd taken the shots, eh?

  • @bodryn Oh yes, knowing what is known now yes he would have been better off...But at the time, the soldiers going to the Persian Gulf were threatened with court martial if they didn't take the Anthrax shots. The other issue was the solders were required to take potassium bromide pills, which my husband fortunately did not take because he pocketed them. I have also heard now of the military using an immunization gun so you get everything at once in 1 shot, but I can't verify it.

  • @KCMadquilter Yes, I can verify that. That's what they used on me during basic training. They just lined up a whole bunch of us and held those things against our upper arms (yes, both arms) and it took 10 or 15 seconds to get maybe 9 shots at once. That was back in 1964, and I know of no ill effects from those shots. By the way, I've listened to several programs of Joyce Riley, who has repeatedly brought up the issues facing Gulf War veterans, as well as using depleted uranium.

  • i'm ashamed...our veterans deserve the utmost respect living or dead! ...look how we treat people for standing up for what is right? they get fire and trampled on... good point demcad, the lies we were told under the bush admin. sick and disgusting. people forget now on to the next lie an people cant wait to suck it up!

  • Twisting arms really works.

  • The only people whom acknowledge veterans day is banks and the gubberment. I am a vet, and am sad. Almost no one else in business acknowledges it. What ever. Thanks Dem!

  • solders are cheap in a capitalistic world. the u.s. don't hire Merck's till after the fight(black water). yes i highly respect our troops but not the leaders of the troops.

  • Preach brother!!!!!!

  • Im a Veteran, two tours in Iraq as a combat engineer. I listen to your channel all the time you speak truth man wether people agree or not you have principles. Keep up the good work brother.

  • @ftpwh33 what company me 2 sappers all day

  • @folk60i I was in the Va ARNG i served in mosul 04 -05 and i did route clearance for 237th Engineers under the 2nd of the 82nd airborne in baghdad 07 -08 stationed at FOB Marez

  • great video demcad im glad I never joined the Millitary my dad served in Ww2 and he is kind of messed up in the head he probaly got exposed to something bad keep up the good work.

  • thanks reggie

  • God Bless you Demcad . The woman was fired for speaking the truth about the dead soldiers arm . And the lynch mob is jumping all over Paterno . Guess what all the Paterno haters never would have the guts to stand up for this lady who got fired - probably by our uh government .

  • Not only that, but this country treats the military like trash and most of them are homeless or barley getting by.

  • Instead of telling the next Vet you meet, "thank you for your service", say this instead:

"As an American whose government sent you to war, I hold some responsibility for what you experienced . So if you want to talk, I will listen for as long as you want to speak, and I will not judge." Avoid speaking, and just actively listen with 100 percent of your attention.

Thanks, Reggie for bringing this up.

  • @frugalwoodsman As an old veteran myself, I certainly would have liked a friendlier attitude from people when I got back. The only people a veteran can talk to is other veterans, it seems. I've been observing all these wars and I'd say 90% or more were ginned up by corporate interests that profit off wars and don't care about all the people maimed and killed in the process. Why can't we just live in peace for once?

  • here is a good organization that helps servicemen and women and vets deal with ptsd google patriotoutreach

  • You mentioned "The Grand Chessboard"... that's exactly what's behind it. People need to read Byrzinski's book and learn why we're over there. I served in Central America, my son in A-stan. I demanded that he document EVERYTHING that happened to him health-wise. Luckily he did. A veteran may really be serving the 1%, but we believe in our hearts were serving the 100%. It's unfortunate we're lied to and abused. When people talk about socialized medicine, I tell them to visit the VA...

  • @combatjm89 Re: socialized medicine: you might tell somebody to visit a Canadian health care facility. I have on several occasions and it is really pretty good. Compared to that, my VA health care is atrocious. Canadian health care is much like American health care used to be years ago when it was affordable and not so corrupted by huge corporate interests.

  • Damn fine rant Reggie.

  • My feelings exactly.

  • Also, it should be no surprise...throughout history, the poor have always died for the rich, people's cause.

The average troop comes from a family that makes less than $40K/year.

The average politician in D.C. is worth millions.

So, do the math...nothing changes and history always repeats itself...

  • All this B.S. about..."Thank you for your service"...thank you for keeping us safe" ....etc...makes me sick!

If people really care, you should be trying to get the troops out of the illegal wars!

They are not keeping us safe either...you are brainwashed in to believing that B.S. to rally support for the government to keep continuing these B.S. wars!!!

  • @RealRickyRoss As a veteran I really HATE it when people say "Thank you for your service." and then we're supposed to be glad they said it? Even some VA health workers say it. Yecch.

  • Thank you for your service to the 1% and making them wealthey at the expense of the 53%.

  • @cybrotius The 1% are really servicing us, all right - in the veterinary sense.

  • altho i completely disagree with the occupation of other countries and can't understand why people sign up for the services in the first place. these veterans should be the first people to be looked after the rest of their lives. i think they should speak out more, maybe help some young person from making the same mistake...and in turn, being left behind.

  • @vonredbird Disabled veterans are especially reluctant to speak out because they survive on compensation claims and the VA is very tight fisted about them. Also it seems to me that some are reluctant to admit they wasted their health and earning power for a system that betrayed them so badly.

  • We see them under freeway begging for money. Poor guy maybe missing a body part. Does the government really care? Hell NO!!

  • Very, Very Powerful Video Reggie. Thank you for it.

  • Don't get me started about Dover AFB and the Dept of the Air Force! Google the words "allah damn it" + Dover

  • Yeah man, it wasn't always right and it wasn't always fair, but when freedom called, some of us were there!

  • @demcad yup just like the religious leaders like to stand up there and bless the soldiers before they march off to kill. smh makes me sick to my stomach

  • As a veteran, Thank you for your concern and video.

  • Everytime i think of the conditions in VA hospitals i think about the movie Jacobs Ladder.

  • @evisceratednation That was a great movie, a haunting movie. I was very surprised at the end.

  • The middle east is kind of like a safari , where hunters go to experience the ultimate sport ....

Quit pretending its anything else PLSE.....

  • Hey demcad read the book "Soldiers in Revolt: GI Resistance During the Vietnam War" great read!!! "This was a great and uplifting story about thinking warriors that dared to stand up for what is right by standing down. Whole companies refused orders. Pilots refused to fly bombing runs, even the intelligence people refused to pass intelligence except to warn US troops."

  • I think the winner though is losing their body parts and dumping their bodies in a landfill :/

  • @PattyC127 When I went in, it was because otherwise I was likely to be drafted. I wanted to get it over with so I could enjoy this supposed freedom. I would never have gone in otherwise.

  • @bodryn Just glad you made it through alive. Thank you for your courage and bravery.

  • @SurvivingSTL You make a smart ass comment then delete your account? What a fucking coward!!!

  • "Ever serve in a forward area? Ever put your life in another man's hands, ask him to put his life in yours?" ... from the movie "A Few Good Men" Thank God we still have some willing to serve their country. I'm a retired military vet with disability and the care I get is absolutely outstanding. My injuries are not severe and require little treatment but being retired provides excellent medical benefits. Vets who are not retired are made to jump thru more hoops which is a National tragedy. Shame!

  • @cyclist01222 Yes, it makes me mad that we DAVs can't get the health care that retirees can get. I could tell stories, but not here, not now.

  • It's like senator Heinz said, you're stupid if you want to be an American serviceman.

  • war is old man talking, young man dying. Nothing more nothing less.

  • Good video DEMCAD. Tell it how it is. SPEAK IT, SPEAK IT, SPEAK IT. Expose thier manipulations and lies. I am just as pissed as you are in this video bro.

  • Speak it brother!

I'd like to take a little space for my own rant if I may.

I'm tired of people telling me to have a "happy" Memorial and Veteran's day.

(I don't work at a bank! I drive an ambulance while most are still in bed.)

Proper respect is thank you on Veterans day

And don't contact me on Memorial day (I didn't die in combat!)

    Thanks for listening.

  • demcad for president!!!!

  • Damn good video!!! you tell the truth man.

  • right on DEMCAD you said that just right, more power to you!

  • you wanta thank a vet call your senator and ask them what happened to there benefits

  • @tominrexmont VA health care used to be free for ALL veterans. But then Reagan came along....

  • @bodryn It's the same with the large steel mills we use to have out in California until Reagan came along.I remember a couple steel workers that committed suicide because they've lost there jobs.

  • @evisceratednation Reagan changed some policy where a number of veterans that were getting 100% disability compensation were suddenly denied their compensation. I heard that 101veterans committed suicide as a result Yet Repubs wanted to put him on Mt. Rushmore? Yecch.

  • I think Veterans get shafted most of the time......they get paid practically nothing and you nailed it on the coffin - they don't have the 'security' for them or their families if they get injured or worse. Much love for our Veterans!

  • Well said! My dad served in the army in WWII when gulf war 1 was going on and it was all over the news my dad started having flashbacks. Nightmares from his war days in the Philippians. A friend talked him into going to the VA for "help."

All they did is fill him up with drugs. Within 1 year he aged 20 and died. God help our soldiers who go to the VA "hospital" aka morgue!! They dope them up to shut them up! They killed my dad!!!!!

  • @mieses2pieces I'm very sorry about what happened to your dad. Malpractice all over the place. I guess the VA is a good enough place to visit if you're healthy. But if not, stay away! If this goes on, how are they going to get anybody to want to serve anymore?

  • Stop serving for the USA Death cult!

  • Go Demcad! You summed it up very nicely for me.

  • Justified anger, for sure.

  • Cool video Reginald

  • Excellent vid!

  • They are Criminals not veterans , they kill for fun

  • @LieExtinguisher You are in fear of thinking for yourself. I feel sorry you.

  • @videokid56 what r u talking about? they came out and confessed to it ,Focus!

  • @videokid56 LieE is apparently an Islamic radical. Hmmm - maybe I would be too, if my country was continually being bombed for its oil.

  • Well said Reggie.

  • I'm a veteran and this veteran says vote Ron Paul and support his $ bomb.

Rock on DEMCAD and keep learning and posting your vids.

  • @LotusExigeDragon ...........another puppet.... they are all puppets man..... Do Not Vote in 2012///

  • @hintlo1 your wrong, there not all puppets just most of them. If you cant see that then your not looking deep enough

  • @ftpwh33 .........Who are the puppets///?

  • @hintlo1 almost all of them, i do not believe Ron Paul is a puppet.... Now your going to tell me im a nut for thinking that but if you look close enough and research his voting record and history of being pushed to the side by the media you can make up your own mind.

  • @ftpwh33 your not nuts just dont put all your eggs in one basket ya know? we wont know until he becomes prez. its not bad to have faith

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you for the message DEMCAD..... appreciate the words for veterans...

  • Nice to see you fired up and that intense passion..

  • I've seen my self as a tourist the returning veterans treated and clothed like homeless ppl.

  • our soldiers are just pawns to the higher ups in the grand scheme of things, as long as they do there part, the higher ups dont care to loose pawn. so as our goverment finds new wars to fight, please ask yourself who benefits? and honor the soldiers intention, support the troops not the wars

  • No one will care when our kids end up having serious problems and deformities from the depleted uranium we were exposed to, who will take care of them? there are millions of children who are affected from when their parents came in contact with agent orange before the kid was conceived, many of the problems we have will be passed down to our kids.

  • Right ON! It is a corporate frame work across the board....they have no honor, no respect for our lives...they don't care about any of us...they care about MONEY and their liabilities. All this capitalist crap makes our society total SHIT. United we STAND...divided we fall<<<<that means we all help each other....and if that means we ALL have to pay an extra 5 cents a week to give health care no questions asked to everyone we SHOULD.

  • Thank You

  • Thank You for posting Demcad. Well said. I will save this one to my hard drive with the segment they did on CNN. I am subbed to almost 270 tubers and you are the first to post anything about this. Thank You Again.

  • @jaymzdinaz Some Veterans being mistreated in VA hospitals, no doubt. Veterans that actually have issues and are being denied care sure. Are there some sacrifices being made, of course. Do some have honorable intentions, no doubt. My question is what freedoms and way of life are they fighting for?

  • @jimbobubbadj and from what "enemies"?

  • I'm a vet i support you demcad i have your same view's on this matter

  • a fired up demcad, impressive sir....

  • Extra bodies probably went to China . 1 body worth 1 million. Kinda like fast and furious guns has tracing device gets in wrong hands. Haha csi even made a show, sad. Good vid demcad !

  • I love a pissed off Demcad, good vid bro

  • Damn, Demcad, you're so right on. I'm glad you're talking about this kind of thing. I am sharing this with others as well, cause I know for a fact not many know or have heard about this happening. Most people are too busy watching Hollywood instead of the daily NEWS. Even if you watch the news, you have to pick through the crap to find the truth sometimes. The media loves to withold things or spin it to sound less bad. That's what happens when our Media are basically puppets.

  • Thanks bodryn

  • He gets medical benefits all veterans get medical benefits. But he can no longer work so AGAIN y has he been denied his disability....

  • @shonshonacg not true

  • Or my grandpa that served in ww2! i be damed if any one of my sons sacrifice their lives, bodies or minds for this shitty government that dont give a damn!

  • Yup! My brother served for more than 20 years, and when hd had a stroke that left him totally disabled, the gov throws hin to the side and denies him disability! He now lives in florida in a crappy lil apartment and his youngest son takes care of him. I wont even go into how poorly my dad who served in korea or my uncles that served in vietmam or my

  • @shonshonacg Why isn't he on Tri-care? Anyone that served 20+ years can get on it.

  • @shonshonacg And then the politicians like to stand in front of the soldiers for speeches to make themselves look better.

  • Thanks demcad.....I couldn't have said it any better myself

  • Demcad.... the U.S needs its citizen to work and pay their taxes... and hopefully die before they have to pay a pension. The reason why the retirement was at 65, was because back then the average person lived until 62. Starting to understand your beloved Government.

  • well my dad is 77 hes a korean war vet his only income is his soc sec check he gets just over 1000 a month out of that he has to pay on his home loan his light bill and oil to heat his place then is car and house ins and he has some health issues but the va says he makes to much to get the free health care they said he would have for the rest of his life they wont bill his medicare ins so he has to pay 6 bucks each script from the va but at walmart he only has to pay 3 at most and most are free

  • @geraldb4201 Back when he got out, the VA gave 100% health coverage to ALL veterans. That was the case until maybe the 1980's. I remember how the Reagan admin suddenly cut some veterans off compensation payments, and that some of them took their own lives afterwards. This is what happens when politicians sell their souls to the highest bidder rather than sticking to principles of decency and integrity. Hard to do when it costs so much to seek office.

  • @geraldb4201 He's eligible for Medicare.

  • @geraldb4201 There is elderly housing that is available also with good terms.

  • @jimbobubbadj he doesent want elderly houseing his place is almost paid for he gets around pretty good he just wants what the government promised him when he joined the army he held up his end of the deal he went to korea for them put his life on the line for this country and until the last few years he hadent had a problem with the va but now they want him to pay out of his pocket for dr visits instead of billing medicare for them its a gov ins so they wont bill them

  • @geraldb4201 What about Tri-care?

  • @geraldb4201 He can't go to the VA for medical care if medicare is paying for it. He has to go to private medical care which bills medicare.

  • @geraldb4201 The private medical care facility also has to accept medicare, not all do.

  • @jimbobubbadj the thing is hes been going to the va for medical care for years and just this past year they started to bill him at first they tryed to say it was because of his raise in soc sec put him into a higher bracket and he said what raise he hasent gotten a raise in soc sec in over 3 years

  • I think your best video ever!!

  • Thanks for saying what needed to be said DEMCAD!

  • The only way the US Military can regain respect from the American People, is for the Military to FORCE the Government to abandon all laws which conflict with the Constitution.

ZionCorp controls all Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, Oil/Chemical, Agribusiness, Media and Financial businesses in America, which is why this happens: watch?v=LD_a7nSJsHU

America is controlled by a foreign power so Congress gives the leader of that foreign power 55 standing ovations in 35 minutes. /watch?v=yrd2vqr8ONY

  • Your right Demcad, I believe the same thing. Why? Why, do we need to be fighting all these undeclared wars? If we are going to fight a war do it right. =/

  • @SimplificationX Do it right, by not being there.

  • I CAN NOT LIKE THIS ENOUGH!!!

  • I don't support anything anymore what freedom... what the hell are people talking bout freedom... our soldiers or the gov soldiers... they don't fight for my freedom because I'm free.... they fight for government interest... not for me... they fight pre-made wars.... controlled wars.... if a country wants war send off gov officials n their family's fuck a war.... thank you because of you we are still fighting fake enemies... fake wins... all interest....WAKE UP!!

  • militarycorruption (website)/sabow

  • DU rounds!! they contaminate EVERYTHING, the uniforms, boots, humvees, tents, sleeping bags, EVERYTHING!!! depleted frickin' Uranium!!

DEMCAD!! DEMCAD!!! talk about Colonel Sabow..(murder coverup suicide) Col. Jimmy Sabow MCAS El Toro..was killed for preparing to expose govt involved drug running..THE NUMBER ONE REASON MCAS EL TORO was closed.. militarycorruption

I was at el toro and learned too much from the aftermath!!

  • Abuuused!

  • yep ,i did 13 yrs in the Nav, promised i would always be able to use the VA in later years, what bs , all empty promise what a wonderful goverment

  • @65616larry recruiters=used car salesmen=stock brokers

  • @65616larry There is your result of people constantly preaching tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts. If you'd stayed in 20 years maybe you'd qualify for Tri-care.

  • @bodryn My dad is on Tri-care, great insurance! Don't let United Health care and these other fraudulent for profit health insurance companies persuade you to switch over.

  • @jimbobubbadj My brother was in Air Natl Guard for 20 years, now gets Tri-Care. He just went to some base for 2 weeks a year then came back to his job. I was on active duty, got medical discharge, NO Tri-Care. Stuck with the lousy VA. I'd much rather have Canadian style health care, which I've seen up close.

  • didn't know that. yuck

  • Yesterday was Armistice Day in France. They have an absolute horror of war here many Americans can't grasp, but we still find live bombs around where I live from WWI. And WWII. When they realized Vietnam was hopeless, they pulled out. Ditto Algeria. France is far from perfect, I point out. The Libya thing is just a money and aquifer grab, as far as I can tell. Good video, uprated.

  • best

  • “The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.” -McArthur

  • @HeroicHero1 Douglas McArthur was a fascinating person. People should read American Caesar, a very well written biography of the man. He also wrote a very interesting autobiography. Highly recommended to read both of these.

  • @HeroicHero1 It is always important to remember that McArthur overstepped his authority when he tried to make foreign policy on his own and forced Truman to fire him.

  • Demcad, the military treated me great, It wasn't until I dealt with the VA that I had problems. Another thing is how EVERY employer I have ever interviewed with, or talked to its employees, will not hire a veteran. They constantly look for a way to say you have PTSD (when you don't) and say you are too much of an insurance risk to hire. Or some anti war nut is in charge of hiring and they toss your app out thinking you're the one who started the war. Hard to imagine they want good workers..

  • @monkybit Vets were in huge demand by employers during the big recession from '87-'93. It was felt that had they survived to that point they had a lot going for them and tended to be very disciplined. I live in a country where if you are over 35 no one will hire you. All this is so unfair. (I had to leave the USA in '94 to get healthcare.)

  • @slobomotion If it wasn't for my family's business, I'd be toast here in the USA.

  • @jimbobubbadj Thank heaven for that! My family's business, electric motor repair, closed last year. They started around WWII after the govt seized our farm land a century ago. I have a tiny regular job I've clung to for 7 years but they keep trying to get me to quit. That's why I became a fully legal international consultant in September. Wow, that took a long time to set up! If I can't do it I charge a little for a solid referral but if I don't have one I turn biz away.

  • @monkybit The military can be good for some people - it's a roll of the dice. I hated what I went through, but you're right, the VA is something else. The VA used to provide free medical care for ALL veterans, and you got to see real doctors, not nurse practitioners. Some vets do still get free health care, but if the government really cared, they'd see that vets could get free health care WHERE THEY LIVE and not have to drive many miles to some mismanaged VA hospital.

  • In the past wars, when our men came home they were treated like 2nd class people, and called baby killers, Now we have learned that they go out there and put there lives on the line, so we can continue to have our freedoms and so we can sleep at night knowing we are safe in our homes. My son met alot of good people in afghanstan that just wanted to survive, and others who tryed to kill him everyday he was there, So why bomb descent good people just for a few bad ones?

  • thank you demcad, Iam a veteran and appreciate you saying exactly what I feel is going on also!

  • When you sign up for the military you become property of the government. They can do with you as they please. The soldier becomes a disposable piece of meat. When they get through using the person they just toss him out like trash. The people calling the shots could care less about the soldier. So you know they don't care about the US citizens. They sure don't care about the people they kill in those foreign countries. Those people worship death and destruction. Satan is their god.

  • Yeah, its a real bummer how they treat vets and the war dead, ya think with all their high tech gizmos and all, there wouldn't be a way to find out who's arm it was(dna testing),....back home when i was growing up, we had a vet for a neighbor, survived in WW1, he got his pension when he was 62 or 65, SS and Vet pension,...but he still couldn't make ends meet, got a dishwasher job and somebody reported him?, well, bye-bye vet pension, thumbs up Reg!! =D

  • @qualqui I guess in his case it was pension, not compensation. A pension is means-tested, which means if he makes other income, it is taken out of his pension.

  • I have been to Iraq twice with the 82'nd Airborne as a medic. I lost friends, and have seen a lot of bad stuff. Most civilians can't even begin to imagine the hardships that soldiers go threw. I am glad that there are some civilians out there that do show the respect and apreciation that our troops deserve, regardless of ones political views. Thanx for posting brother.

  • is it sacrifice if they receive a paycheck? is it a sacrifice if they soldier didn't have any job prospects and screed around in school and the army was his only way out of town?

  • @djgrooveline Many have admitted to joining solely because of economics, proves your point.

  • @djgrooveline You should remember that young men were routinely DRAFTED into the military until the draft ended in the 1970's. I myself enlisted to avoid being drafted, or worrying about being drafted. No freedom for me. Changed my whole life.

  • @bodryn very valid point. post draft then?

  • @djgrooveline I'm afraid I don't understand your query.

  • Generation after generation, young people go to war because they are taught to believe it is their patriotic duty. There are always enough who can be fooled. When veterans return home, they often find they have few real friends, if any at all. Even their own families may turn their backs on them. I have experienced this reality. People seem to expect veterans to go on sacrificing year after year, instead of allowing them to resume a normal life.
