I wondered why he was using an oven mit an a kitchen knife, I was offended. I then realized it was a different person. My offence has gone and I'm being more forgiving.
Definitively I have to try this one... but in my country lamb chops have a different cut: not as thick as those ones... so I´ll have to talk to the butcher. But I will escort the meal with a good Spaniard red wine from "Ribera del Duero".
Sir, may I ask you who´s the cooker? maybe your son? a relative? a friend?
Dont they have all such recipes written down on their website? I cant seem to find any. Just videos. And what all did he add after olive oil? I am not very familiar with marinade sauces and ingredients. I would love to make the chops in the next weekend. I normally make food by seing a printout of the recipes.
hi, i missed your ingredient to make marinated part.I did check out bbqweb site but i didnt find out this recipe. Can you give me some advice or some note, it will be perfect.
Was that thyme in the beginning? Those leaves looked huge, like rosemary. Rosemary is also the traditional herb for lamb...so maybe it was rosemary? Blargh!
I live in Australia where we eat far more lamb than the Americans. Loin chops and the leg are the best cuts i think but those chops are not cheap any more. Everyone got on the band wagon i think. We also traditionally have mint jelly with lamb and it goes beautifully with this meat. Loved the video. Thanks, and hello from Australia.
I love your videos :) I might actually have to get a charcoal grill this year. The first recipe I think I'll make is the Bacon Chicken Sticks. They looked really good! Keep the videos comin' boys! Thanks for posting!
made this meal last night, it was awesome even though I didn't have dijon mustard and had to use plain yellow mustard, and I used thyme even though it appears he actually used rosemary. still very good
Yes I agree - I think he was referring to the blackened char grilled lines that you get from a piece of grilled meat. I'm pretty sure you can cut back the HCAs by using an acidic marinade like lemon or red wine.
So I was at a friend's place, and his father was saying how he doesn't like BBQ'ed stuff because of the hydrocarbons being a health risk. I just said what the hell, you gotta die of something.
@nseagoon71 I'm not too concerned bout the danger of bbq foods as long as its cooked right. As long as the char aint over none, I think I'll be fine. Is that coarse mustard he used?
Yea the pre ads are annoying and I know Youtube is responsable of it.

Hey pitboys once again enjoyed the choice of food and awesome preparation, you were getting a little to fancy for the pit until you dropped your fork and just dug in with your hands . Also the fresh herb you used in your marinade is not Thyme but Rosemary a very very different herb with that blends perfectly with lamb. Keep up the great videos
food looks great again pit boys. I dont know about the new tenderfoot tending the pit but the lamb looks good. Im sure he had alot of coaching from ya!!! Wheres his beard at goatie mushtache anything come on man
Hey pit boys another great video, got a little fancy this time around for sure not your style but when you dropped the fork and just went in with your hands at the end it made up for it lol. Just a quick correction when you are making your marinade the fresh herb you have is not Thyme its Rosemary. Keep up the great videos
who is the new guy? where did you get the new grill grate is it cast iron? some fresh mint chopped up mixed with white wine vinegar or a vinegar of your choice and seasoning would b better than the grenn glowing jelly.
aye who is the new guy? wasn't that herb rosemary? no matter thyme just as good. where did you get your grill grate? is it cast iron? i done beef brisket last nite a whole 1 11.5lb it's ggggooooooooodddddd!!

Looks awesome guys! but I gotta partially agree with dieseldragontamer, where's the old hickory/multitool? and what's up with the itty bitty paring knife? Not very manly!
Mint jelly has been eaten with lamb for a very long time. Some people would even say that a restaurant that does not serve mint with lamb is not a good restaurant.

@XXXphatloserXXX i have heard that...i have also been told that how a sheep/lamb is butchered can make a difference.the lanolin in wool can taint the flavor of the meat i guess?make it taste off?
however, i keep thinking i want to taste it prepared RIGHT by someone else so i know how it's supposed to taste first.can you help me in that dept?anything to compare it to?
@practicalmagic9 Uhhh, I really don't know what to compare it too. There are many variations of cooking veal/lamb/mutton. Indian food uses mutton in there curries. Italians use it in place of chicken sometimes (Veal parmigiana) and Lamb is really good grilled!
its no risk as long as you dont burn the meat and eat the burned black parts-so learn to barbecue.
