  • turn it up....hahaha awesome hair i love this song

  • I love Rockabilly and Rock'n'Roll. I've seen the Road Kings, The Hubcaps, The Dead Cricketts, not to mention Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bo Diddley, The Comets,The Coasters, and the Drifters.

  • 水曜どうでしょう

  • Wow! How many cans of Auqa Net do you think he used to get his hair like that?

  • @artgonewrong im thinking one large can of Freeze It hair spray from walmart

  • oh man. your pomp' rules the land. seriously.

  • oh man. your pomp' rules the land. seriously

  • Hell yeah!

  • Listen to this version of the same song. Its very nice!

Mikko Huuhtanen & Köyhät Marie Marie

  • This is rock solid in every way. It's pretty hard not to love this. I got two weeks back pay, and there's gas in the car. I'm thinking the car's an old Cadillac or at least a convertible. I love the pool tables. I can almost smell the place.

  • everyone has his own taste of music but in my opinion this looks more authentic, its more rockabilly then the blasters version

don't you guys shoot me for this :) just like this version more that's all

  • me gusta mucho esta cancion :-D

  • Great song sounds different by other artists, which is great! Check out the version on youtube by the Essex based English band The Reactors!!

  • that quiff would cut a man in two...

  • who is this???

  • Not even close to the Blasters, but this would be pretty fucking great if Ray was singin it.

  • one word: great!!

  • pretty cool

  • We throw the Blasters in the dustbin! This is the great version!

  • Oh come on, this is great no denying it ... but it ain't better than The Blasters.

  • With hair that awesome, you KNOW it's gonna be good rockabilly! XD

  • top shelf rockabilly!!!

  • Sounds pretty good to me

  • Leroy Brothers were a smokin Rockabilly act! Very, very good and tight. Their shows rev'd everyone!

  • My brother (Steve Doerr of the Leroi Brothers) is playing the white guitar in the back. That is the original Leroi Brothers Lineup (Steve Doerr, Don Leady and Mike Buck), and I am pretty sure that was the first and last time they ever covered Marie Marie and they still rocked the shit out of it. Ray and Ronnie were damn lucky the Leroi Brothers were backing them up.

  • Yeah because they probably would have butchered this song without the stellar help of the bros backing them up. Whew, good thing they were there...

  • Ronnie Mack is the BEST! ...kinda like a deranged Ricky Nelson

  • Gimmy The Blasters !!!

  • this guy is corney, and he gets the lyrics wrong

The Blasters are soo much better.

  • Corney ? yeeeees !. Stock in a hair spray company ? Oh , for sure ! But if -- If now, they would cut the B/S and just sing the song, I think I like it better them the lead singer of the Blasters. Add to that the history behind Ray Campi, you could have a very geat group here and not even know it.

  • Gotta agree with you ... The Blasters hands down

  • Could even be a G&L Broadcaster or a ASAT

    Still wonderful

  • This is really good What more do you want. Even with a Stand Up Bass Even a Fender Telecaster or a Broadcaster or a No Caster

  • This is RONNY MACK in prime time

  • blasters do it better

  • Boy I don't know ??? This sounds pretty solid to me. I like the Blasters but for some reason the way these guys do the song sticks with me all day long !

  • Besides, who gives a shit what a president listens to? I know Bush had 'Brown Eyed Girl' on his iPod.. Actually, I kinda liked that song less after learning that..

  • Bush is a big Brian Setzer fan - I'm not sure what cred that adds to Brian, but he IS (was) the President. Mikey x

  • man ok suck my hawk im going for w/e that is.. gogo jonny brovo

  • Wooooow!!!

  • Great!

  • AMAZING

  • Best hair ever!!!

  • The Stilletos in San Diego are as good. Awesome music.

Great video, thanks for posting, YEAH!!

  • Great, but I can't believe that some gentlemen are casually playing on the pool table at the same time (totally unfazed/interested in the music). Outrageous!

  • Hippies and rockabilly in Austin Texas. It is amazing but Steve Doerr doesn't look much different now. Sure, the young gun look is gone but he makes a handsome old gun too, and I don't have a gay corpustle in my body although I don't care if everyone else does. Hahaha. I think Butch Hancock had something to do with the production of this show shot in a warehouse at 5th street and I-35 in the 80's. I think it was called Dixie's Beer and Bus Stop. But I admit I am sometimes wrong.

  • Many bad things this is said about USA but it can NOT be totally bad because something like this comes from there. ;-)

  • Ain't no bald Rockabillies I guess!

  • good point!

  • I remember Ronnie at the Palomino on Tuesday nights, I think it was (early 90s). He's always been big on hairspray. (smile)

  • I was there quite often for The Barn Dance. Ronnie was great. I think he still does that in Southern CA somewhere. I am in Tennessee now. I was Herman Schmerdley there.

  • ronnie's doing the barndance in silverlake, these days. i was there tonight. He's a great guy. cheers.

  • Ronnie Mack still does the Barndance, I just played it last Tuesday with The Hightoppers (search youtube under No Shoes Boogie)

  • Cool!!!

  • Nice take on The Blasters classic!!
