He had great values that made us a "open-mind" liberal country now but by being hard with Québec, he just helped the sovereignist movement down here (War Measures in 1970, infiltrating independance movements with the RMCP and the CSIS and promoting violence in these groups, repatriation of the Constitution without consulting Québec, by his implication who leads to the failure of the Meech Lake Accord, etc.)
